lol dont think his dad was expecting him to drive it, and i noticed the window wipers went on, maybe he thought that was the gears lol, and my friend thought the clutch was the brake first time he drove hs brothers manual......he hit a wall lol

KidCro, if I was near you right now I would slap you so hard that your face would end up around the back of your head.

You have absolutely no idea about cars or how they work. When someone who actually has a brain tells you something, take their advice.

And for the record, I should explain what happens when you start a car.

In a carburetted car, the choke will close up and heavily restrict the airflow. This gives you a very rich air/fuel mixture which is needed for starting. So when the throttle is closed it makes the car easier to start.

The same thing applies for a fuel injected car. When you turn the key the injectors squirt loads of fuel into the engine (plus some cars have a cold-start injector that injects fuel into the plenum) and with the throttle closed you get a very rich mixture.

I think the car could have started in gear. It could've been parked with the handbrake off and 1st gear engaged. I'm guessing that the Shelby has a huge starter motor because it's supercharged, and I wouldn't be suprised if the car was pulled forward just by the starter alone. Or he thought the clutch was the brake, which is also perfectly feasible.

And yes the kid is an idiot, so lets stop talking about it . . .

I agree with you RSZETEC Gorup B rally was awsome... The Audi car had over 650hp it was a beast... only again, in rallies you couldn't show that power too often as a modern WRC is able to top the audis times... But B class cars in a drag race would be fierce!
