Movie... Probably The Departed, deservedly so.
I "only" gave the movie 8/10 @ imdb but it's been a bit crappy year movie-wise.
Actor/actress... Well I can't really say.
I haven't seen all of the movies that have nominees in these categories...

well, Anyone else love Colin? (SWAT, Miami Vice)

I think he is a top pick for actor this season. So is Nick Cage.. He is making a comback.

has anyone seen eternal sunshine with Jim Carrey? It's one of the most weird, inunderstandable plots ever, about a company who can erase your memories, and Mr Carreys girlfriend does that to him, and he needs to piece the bits of memory he can find back together to find out why she did it to him.

Madness? This is SPARTA!!!

:D

Has anyone seen 300 yet? I just watched it today (opening day) and I must say, the movie was just too sweet. We wanted to see it in the IMAX but it was all sold out so we bought a normal one two hours before the movie started. One hour before it, people started lining up and so did we.

I must say, this movie exceeded all expectations and the trailers do not do justice. I mean, I cannot explain the pure awesomeness of the movie. Apparently, it received a lot of bad reviews but critics don't know what they're talking about. Go see this movie...now! Pay and buy the ticket because it will be worth it!

Man, i just watched "Grandmas Boy" . I know its kinda old, but sure kicks ass :P
All the scenes were just so realistic, i mean it didnt seem as if the actors actually learnt the script..instead they just made up their own bits.

Rating : 8.7/10

I saw Happy Feet the other day, and it was complete and utter rubbish. Boring, soppy, and full of crap music.

Pixar films are on a whole different level.

Just watched the utterly brilliant Smokin' Aces again
Classy, slick, violent and cool. A proper 21st century Pulp Fiction model.
AND Ben Affleck dies rather rapidly :D
'01 Triumph TT600- Race spec everything
'94 Audi S2 Quattro- Road legal track project

I thought it was better than any of the animated movies that have come out recently.

steelsnake: if you're gonna post spoilers about a movie you should probably warn people in the beginning of your post.

YES!!! i have. it was F**king sweet! one of the best fiilms ive seen in along time. i have to say i was lucky and our heater had surround sound and they had it cranked! so then you heard the inital clash @ the beginning of the war it felt like you were there. but i liked how they showed the honor and bravery of the spartans.

My summary........GO SEE IT!!!!!

no matter how good 300 might be, i'd rather watch happy feet than a movie where every guy has to be half naked.
