Don't get so revved up people! I was merely comparing the graphic engines. What I want to say is that Valve Software is better than EA at making a good game that does not crash and which has good graphics. I took HL2 as a benchmark because it is so well made! And made in 2004!

PS You can put cars in that graphics engine (called Source). And they will look good. With some minor tweaks of course.

ok guys we should start taking bets on how many cars in this game we CANT mod.

from the looks of things the proto gtr will not have any mods. ea have done this toooooo many times! i mean whats the point of making a car modding game and then have cars you CANT mod its pointless. if they mess up pro street then i will have no respect left for ea and i will be buying games from other suppliers juiced 2 comes to mind. ok juiced 2 may not be as good as nfs could be but you get 90ish cars you can mod compared to 50 if we are lucky from nfs and out of them 50 6/8 of them you cant even mod

another thing that bothers me about pro street is online mode we are going to get crappy servers for just 8 player max and that is a joke. what was wrong with the old style underground 1 servers were you could go meet your mates online and race them without joining 30 game`s trying to find them.

Look.. there's not enough info released yet about whether there'll be cars you can't modify and you're saying as if you know it. One word, "patient". And wtf you mean by 6/8 you can't mod? Lol.. Don't make it look worst.

Now he has a point. In Juiced you can mod ALL cars. OK, you need to buy them in Career to mod them like you want but you can mod all of them.

i have heard in one of the video interviews there will be pre tuned cars in other words cars you cant mod. ofcourse you will get the hackers that will be able to change them around but my point still stands why make cars you cant tune in a car tuning game. if i could find the video i would post it but i cant

Pre-tuned cars could also mean that some cars will come with a special custom EA tuned version in addition to the regular tunable version.

EG: the boss cars.

Well . . they dint want us to mod cars like CCX n R8 in carbon . . they are exotics and it's ok to see them clean and 'EA-tuned' . . but GTR-PROTO is different . . it has a really big body like the 350z, which means so much area to work on . . it'd be a shame if EA keeps it as a stock car . . I think it will be tunable . . why? cause it was racing the EVO X . . that means the PROTO was referred as a player car in career mode . . and it is obvious that a player car can be tuned in career mode . . no doubt . . so no worries with the PROTO . . cheers!

edit: . . why are we comparing HL2 and NFS? . . I love playing CS . . the guns look gr8 in the sharp gfx . . but imagine a tuner with that grafix . . no blends . . no special effects that you only get in racing . . only sharp and crystal clean graphics . . . you cant get the feeling of the raod in a FPS game . . if you could, Valve would have made an awesome racing game by now with HL2 engine . . wtf! . . what am I talking about . . chill
