EA Confident of Xmas #1

With only 5 days left for the release of NFSPS in Europe, EA is confident that the game will be a top seller for christmas.

“A Need for Speed game has been Christmas number one for four of the last five years, with FIFA only pipping it to the post last year in a debatable count back,” said Steve Farrell, senior product manager at EA.

“We are confident the increased quality of the game this year – as well as our extensive marketing campaign, with support throughout the run-up to Christmas – will help to re-establish a Need For Speed game at number one.”

"November 23 is a great release date to capitalise on the end-of-month pay packets, and with only five weeks until Christmas we fully expect the title to deliver a strong week-on-week sales performance throughout this entire period, both for self purchase and the all-important gifting purchases.”

Hmm i think austalia's release date will push sales imo, seeing that its the 29th and after that it would be 3 weeks to xmas (i think).

I am looking for a blog where I can write down all the complaints about the game . . specially against EA . . no.1 . . I cant skip their logo video! . . why do I have to look at it every time I load the game? . . " EA is cool " . . but why repeat myself so many times? . . . tis getting irritating now . . and I hate it when I have to watch the scenes b4 every race . . I have tons more things to write down which EA better notice! . . . this game would be one of my fav nfs games only if they had reply mode . . . cause I am good with the game . . why cant I relieve my good memories instead of relieving EA's logo and the long cut-scenes even after getting totaled!

On X360 i think you can skip the video's ive only played the X360 demo for PS and i could do it.

The cut scene for totalled car is a bit irritating indeed, but all in all the game is cool. What I wish is a test track for performance tuning, it's strange that they bragged about the blue print thing that much but forgot to add a test track where you can test out your performance tuning. I wish they would add this in the first patch (should one be needed, this is the first NFS that I think doesn't need a patch to fix bugs, which is nice. But, I still want the extra cars [look at the game directory, loads of cars that aren't activated] and a test track please).

Anyways get a better GFX, that's all I can say about it. You have a killer CPU and tons of Ram, but ur video card....wow let me tell you that it sucks
