Pro Street Drag Tuning
Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
I know. It was an answer to RobinZ's sarcasm..
Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
I can't believe people actually can be botherd to want to become "the best" in a something like this and spend 3 days to achieve it.
It's still a game nothing more, virtually no one in the world would care if you reach a 5.xx second run in NFS PS (and still not be the No1!)
It's not like you will get a letter from the Major that he want's to invite you to be honored for you great achievement.
It's a game (a arcade racer even) and nothing more, nothing less.
If you want bragging rights, I think you are in the wrong place, cause take a good look around.... no one cares, cause the only thing you did was follow the instructions from someone who got there way before you and was kind enough to show the world how it can be done.
So Kudos mate for following instructions

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
Yeah, the Cobalt's a good car, but it's useless after you get past Battle Machine. Here's a couple of cars I reccommend...WonkaVW wrote:Thanks for the help, I'll ditch the thing and grab what I had wanted anyway ('03 Mustang)
'06 Ford Shelby GT500
'67 Shelby GT500
'03 Ford Mustang
'06 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
'65 Pontiac GTO
'70 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
'67 Dodge Charger R/T (My Secret Drag Weapon)
...or whatever tickles your fancy.
P.S: I've been wondering, because I've been looking on the car list, and I've seen a lot of cars that are avaliable in the normal version. How do I get these?

And running thru gears 1,2 and 3? i would say good job if so! lol
Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
I would say that it disappoints me the game is built in such a way that you can actually start a car in frigging fifth gear!!

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
Hey, a Corvette can be started in fifth and actually move. And that's in real life. And it has so much torque it can outrun a line of its own burning fuel!

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
So your point is...? If they want to think it's real-life, then let them. I personally take it serious myself, but only because I want to collect every car in the game. It's their decision to take it seriously.TheStig wrote:I can't believe people actually can be botherd to want to become "the best" in a something like this and spend 3 days to achieve it.

I think his point is.. get a life? There are far more important rl things and accomplishments to worry about and chase after? Don't know, could be what he's trying to say.. maybe.. just maybe..

Thanks?Andreaz1 wrote:I need a life

And another thing, yes, people do use the Zonda F as a drag car to get fast times on the quarter mile, but it won't help you in any WheelieComps. If you want the most out of the Zonda, use it in Speed Challenges. It helps make NItrocide look like a walk in the park (if you don't total out) and makes the already-easy duel against Nate Denver even easier (defeated him with a Corvette Z06).

Heck, If Ryo can be defeated with a GTO (new), anyone can in my case, but I still use the R34 GTR.KammyworldRacerGT4 wrote:Thanks?Andreaz1 wrote:I need a life

I already have Porsche 911 as speed car, love it
Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
yo im back with a brand new car so far in the 1/2 mile i have done 9.2 sec which is my fastest and its usual times is about 9.5 sec in 1/4 mile my best so far is 5.6 sec @403 kph but i still haven't perfected the 1/4 mile and yess i have beaten all my zonda records especially the 1/2 mile without breaking a sweat so u all may be wondering what car im using well its is the camaro ss so far the best drag car i have used and by the way for the people who are using this car i start the race in 5th gear lol

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
You go Drag with the Camaro if you want; I'm sticking with my Dodge Charger, with 857 BHP in the hood. I might submit it to the Showroom.

Re: Pro Street Drag Tuning
Yeah, with those settings for the SS, why do I keep on running 6.5 averages??
And before you ask, I followed the settings EXACTLY as they were given....
