carbon canyon races would have been fun if they were touge. i was hoping to be able to drift chasing someone else down the canyon. it looks like i can expect a little more out of this.

But touge and drift touge are 2 different styles.

the bad thing about carbon's canyon races, is that in the cutscenes regarding the races, it showed cars drifitng around the canyon, yet when you actually face someone there, you'd have to grip instead.

In GRID i can easily see both Drift Touge and normal touge being implemented.

I have heard that a Demo will be set for next week.

Getting our adrenaline pumping tonight, Codemasters has announced that they'll be releasing a Race Driver: GRID demo some time next week. The demo will include three different events and a handful of cars to burn rubber in. Here's the scoop:

Clear your schedule, make sure your hard drive has space, Ensure you close all unnecessary downloads; the GRID Demo will be released next week (Week Commencing May 5th) for all the non-handheld formats.

The demo has 3 events to compete in. The eBay Motors Muscle Cup sees you taking the wheel of a ford Mustang GT-R and the streets of San Francisco, the Advan International Trophy hands you a Nissan S15 Silvia and your playground is Yokohama Docks, and the Euro Touring Car Series provides some old-school tin-top thrills with a BMW 320si touring car and the sweeping curves and hairpins of Jarama.

We'll let you know when this bad boy goes live. So stay tuned!

Played the DEMO on the 360, HOLY shiznit, this game is pure pwnage, so fun, i mean the drift mode is just awsome and the Graphics are pwnage.

The steering is way too sensitive,that's why I don't like it.

I tried playing it with my DFP but it was too sensitive regardless of how much tweaking of the advanced options i did.

But i did manage to pull a 330k score. and the replays make my shotty drifting look epic

330k is nothing, i got about the same score the first try and the opponent AI got 700k+ i guess.
