You are reading it right.

Coldest yet, for this winter. The record for a year is usually somewhere between -35 and -40 so it's getting close to that already (the coldest time is usually at the end of January). The spot I took that photo is about 80km north of the Arctic Circle. (midway from Rovaniemi to Kittilä, for those who Lapland locations).

It sucks to have to stay outside when it's around 30f (AKA football practice :? ) but -32c and I would DIE lol.

Haven't really been very cold here the past days, but it's been snowing like crazy. Spent 2.5 hours yesterday and 3.5 hours today shoveling snow, and I'm still not completely done. And to top it all, it's now -10 outside. Yay...

Here in the Mount it's perfect. 23ºC and sunny. Ah I lurve the summer here, cause it never gets stinking hot, always juuuuuust right.

It only got to 28 here, in Fahrenheit... :lol:

As for snow, we had two early-winter flurries, but other than that it's been bone dry.
Well, of course, that's except for all the rain, flooding, humidity, but over look that and there TOTALLY hasn't been anything.

Lowest my Corolla Verso showed me was -8 at 7 AM last week, but now it's rising again, luckely, cause I hate getting into a cold car and removing ice and snow from the windows and the fact that the car is bloody cold inside :lol:

Would your engine not start at times, due to the fact that it's been literally frozen in ice? I'd love to enter into a freezing cold car though. It'd be a new experience for me. :P

It would indeed not start in -30c if one would just leave it there. But that's where the engine block heater comes in. And the interior heater.

For a while now, the corolla is actually one of three cars I have (well, five if one counts my project cars aswell)

A Pontiac Transporter, if I need to fit my whole family (of five). Mostly driven by my wife though. A Corolla Hatchback, for secondary purposes. A Corvette, which I would prefer when I'm driving alone (to work or where ever) but it isn't driveable in winter conditions (hence the Corolla).

(And Toyota 1000 pick-up which you might be familiar with, and an old Fiat 600 which is pretty much in pieces now waiting restoration and rebuild)

i put my computer in the basement during winter here on the east coast. Doing this lowers my temps by 5 degrees itself. :)

i'm working to try to stream my school's quake matches over the internet with Stream My Game. i'll let you know when :wink: . If anyone knows any better free stream service let me know plox.

EDIT: LOL this guy and girl are VERY touchy across from me. A shirt is bound to come off in the next 5 minutes. :lol:
