Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
Nice requirements. I won't have problems running this game, even though I don't have much RAM and my graphics card is outdated. Btw are those the minimum system requirements or recommended?
My PC:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz - no problems at all
Graphics card: NVIDIA XFX 9600GT 512MB DDR3 - I need to update this thing...
RAM: 2 GB DDR2 PC8500 - I need to add 2GB

Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
the minimum is quite low, good for weak computers
*sig removed for being too big. limitations are 550x120px & 50kb*
Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
Those are for 640x480 and uberlow gaming.
Don't expect to play decently on a "256mb card" like 7300LE lol.

Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
Hydro - your computer is fine. It should be able to run games for the next year or two at the highest of settings. More ram always helps, but the graphics card is fine, imo. What would you upgrade it to? A dual-pcb one?
Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
@2furio: Thanks. I thought those were the recommended... still I shouldn't have any problem.
@Summ: I bought this computer (well, parts of it, since I had most of the hardware already) in April 2008, so all of this is more than one year old. I expect to do a major upgrade in 2010 only (end of the year). Everything is performing fine since I bought it, and there's no reason to upgrade things now (specially with all those new technologies coming out at the end of 2009/beginning of 2010). I still run almost all games perfectly fine at the highest settings (exception is GTA IV and Crysis).
I really need more RAM, 2GB isn't enough nowadays. I feel my computer a bit slow sometimes, so 4GB wouldn't hurt, specially for gaming. The graphics card, well, if I would buy a new one, I would probably choose the GTX 285 or the GTX 275. But that's not probable, because: I don't have enough money for one of those at the moment ( ); there's no need to, the 9600GT is still performing fine. It's outdated, that's all, and I'm afraid it won't handle the next games how I want it to handle them.

Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
Those requirements are really nice, but when will they release the demo so we can test our machines on the game and the game itself?
Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
Yeah I can run this baby...

Re: SHIFT PC System Requirements
I strongly suggest you upgrade to 4GB, and if you feel you need a better gfx card, try ATI HD4870 or maybe 4890 if its not too expensive. They perform as GTX260 and GTX275 respectively, while are cheaper. 4870 is 130€ in spain.Hydro_PT wrote:@2furio: Thanks. I thought those were the recommended... still I shouldn't have any problem.
