I couldn't find it any other way....
Would be a big bummer cause I want the LCE version.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - 10 . 2009
Hope they improved the AI. I was playing Forza 2 endurance and I always got nailed by opponents I had to lap. End result; I had to finish the race with damage while I was trying to set a quick race time.
Overtaking sucks when they plow into you.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - 10 . 2009
Speaking of weird AI in Forza 2, every few dozen races, I'd start a race in maybe 3rd position and the AI in second position would randomly swerve right into me while the smoke was still clearing, damaging me and pushing me off the track.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - 10 . 2009

Sweet.
Here's a video with some of the customization and tuning aspects of the game. The video doesn't go in depth and there aren't any big surprises, but I really like what I see. Real world aftermarket parts ftw.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
Looks like there is going to be a Limited Edition Xbox 360 for the release of Forza 3 in Europe. No pictures but will have 2 wireless controllers, a headset, a copy of the game, and a 250 GB hard drive. Much like the Limited Edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 but without a special skin (unconfirmed atm).
Edit: for £249.99.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
If they decided to add in a special case, it would be totally worth it. The 250 GB HDD is not being sold separately, and if you want to get it, have fun paying that much for a Super Elite lololol. Going to try the demo out soon, pretty much going to be the deciding factor to me buying it.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
There are some new updates.
The Fujimi Kaido track is back, and not only as a point to point race as it was in FM1, it now also has a circuit style track and is now a total of 10 miles long (all track included of course)
Other then that they officially revealed a few new cars (most are seen in screenshots etc, and all where in FM2)
Honda S2000 '03
Mazda RX7 '97
Mazda RX8 Mazdaspeed '04
Nissan Silvia CLUB K's '92 (S13)
Nissan Silvia K's '94 (S14)
Nissan Silvia Spec-R '00 (S15)
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec (R32) '93
Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex '85 (AE86)
Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo '92
Toyota Supra RZ '98
And a brand new cars:
Ferrari 458 Italia '10
Sadly it will be a DLC car, and will be available in December

Demo's available!
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
Yep already played it yesterday.
The game feels it's in a bigger scale (could be the camera angles etc) but everything looks bigger.
It's a very short demo, but it does give a decent impression, I personally would have rather have a real race track to race on, but then they could not show off the gfx of the seroundings etc... so I can see why they did it.)

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
I agree. The visuals look absolutely gorgeous, though one major problem I spotted in the demo is that the undercarriage wasn't as detailed as I was hoping it would be when you roll a car over.
Also, I was a little dissappointed that you can't look around the interior of the car while in cockpit view, but that isn't a huge issue.
Ferrari California looks like a dream

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
Yeah I was surprised that it only had a front view cockpit.
But then I won't use it when racing, I prefer bumpercam, simply because cockpit view takes away too much of the surroundings.

Very true, though I like the added realism of the cockpit.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Demo available Sept. 24th!
I finally played the demo. I agree, it looks a lot... bigger. Which sort of adds to the realism. The visuals are nice - I'm sure they'd look a lot better if I were playing on a better TV.
The physics haven't changed much, if at all, from Forza 2. It almost seems easier - but that could be because I'm used to the hectic gameplay of Shift. Looks like the physics won't be altered for drifting, which is perfect. The points system seems to be done really well - from the point you initiate your drift it starts steadily racking up the points and they'll end with a wall tap or a spin - similar to GT5:P.
There are some small improvements with the sound of the cars, particularly the Flying Lizard GT3 RSR. The cockpit view definitely isn't as playable as Shift's. It's a fun addition, though. I played around with the manual transmission and clutch for a bit... I will definitely be trying to master that. I can see that being very fun - especially rev matching while down shifting.
I'm satisfied, but it doesn't feel all that different from Forza 2. Which is a good thing, I suppose. I'm just looking forward more to the new tracks and the hundreds of new cars to drive and customize!
I hate to say it, but I can see where Bojan was coming from when he said Shift was more fun and more realistic in some ways compared to Forza 3 and GT5. There's something about Shift's sounds, physics, and overall gameplay that are much more exciting and stimulating. Going from Shift to the Forza 3 demo made Forza seem a bit... stale. But, of course, when it comes to quality, Need for Speed doesn't even come close to Forza Motorsport.
