Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Got my new mouse today which wasn't actually the MX Rev, but rather its successor the MX1100. While it runs on 2xAA batteries rather than the Revo's rechargeable lithium battery, and it also loses the thumb-wheel on the side, it gets G5/7/9-style on-the-fly dpi switching and a "Stealth Button" for switching between documents, which is another thumb button on the bottom of the mouse. AU$120.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
LOL, what a loser.
You can clearly see how good the safety construction of a SRT10 is in case of a rollover... in other words... BAD it flattend by it's own weight, in a low speed situation

From the looks of it, Sunday, 21.2. 2010 would be the best choice.GT3x24x7 wrote:Woohoo! I like free food, and free food likes me!

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
In that case I definitely can't go to Perth lol. I'll probably still be in Sydney after TG Live on that date.
For no real reason other than "because I can", a recent purchase of the instant classic ToCA Race Driver 3 (aka V8 Supercars 3) on PC inspired me to migrate my G25 onto the computer desk in my bedroom, leaving my DFGT in the lounge for the mighty PS3.
Unfortunately a few problems have arised:
- It's quite hard to type now. Because my computer's a laptop, and it's now about a metre in front of me and at eye level, I have to reach above the steering wheel to type. Which now that I think about it will also cause problems when I want to play Halo CE.
- My desk is incredibly messy now. The built in "cable-tidy" on the bottom of the wheel doesn't really help.
- ToCA doesn't support 6-speed manual. Fortunately though Test Drive Unlimited DOES, and it's therefore SLIGHTLY worth it.

Yeah those are the same reasons that my Logitech Momo stays shut away in the cupboard.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
We are currently planning on taking a trip to England early next year... so I'm trying to work around the dates you and Morty are planning to come over. I think the 21st would be perfect for me, as I should be back by then! .Bojan wrote:From the looks of it, Sunday, 21.2. 2010 would be the best choice.GT3x24x7 wrote:Woohoo! Well, me and Morty are also planning on going to Cairns, Brisbane/Gold Coast and Sydney. So if anybody wanna go for a beer (or Coke) with us let us know.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
So I just finished Half-Life 2: Episode 2 for the first time, and I've gotta say, that's a pretty shiznitty ending. ._.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
So basicly you are planning a trip around Australia... and it what 3 weeks? man that means a lot of traveling...Bojan wrote:Well, me and Morty are also planning on going to Cairns, Brisbane/Gold Coast and Sydney. So if anybody wanna go for a beer (or Coke) with us let us know.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
3 weeks? Nah that's way too much. It'll all be over in 2
And so far we're planning on 4 internal flights. Not that much really

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Well to be honest, it's the best way to go. Australia is so huge that unless you're flying you're just wasting time.
Besides, we go 3 days in Perth (which is plenty), 3 days in Cairns (once again plenty), 2 days in Brisbane (should be enough) and 3 days of Sydney (once again plenty.). And 1 day for Uluru is once again enough time to see it. What we'll be missing is the south and the far up north. If we went for 3 weeks, we could do that too

Yeah Australia's big enough that you NEED to fly to get anywhere, but small enough that a plane flight's over in a couple of hours tops.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Happy birthday Andre!
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Surfers Paradise is probably one of my favourite places in Aus, and is right next door to Brisbane. I'd personally get a bit of extra time in South Queensland.

Too bad Stereo could only resort to giving you my recycled birthday cake.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
True, you'll need to go flying or else it would takes days to get anywhere but, personally I would not go down under for 2 weeks, that's why I didn't go with you guys, would have loved to go but 2 weeks is just to short for me.Bojan wrote:Well to be honest, it's the best way to go. Last time I went to the US, I stayed for 6 weeks and only visited the west coast.
You are right that you won't need much time to visit a city if you only want to see the most famous things, and yeah if you want/need to see as much in as little time as possible then this is the way to go
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Yea unfortunately for me more than 2 weeks is really not an option. I think Morty couldn't get more days off either so we'll do the speedy tour of Oz
