I used to log on every day just to see what D-Tox would post, or TS-X
or see what Photoshop FrankieGthang would have
Now a days nobody's on and I rarely log on.
NFS is also dead, hence this sites dying days.

I was the same as you Cipher, and due to the inactivity, I'd probably be well gone from here as well, but I just keep logging on

Btw BLAHHEAD you'd probably be able to set up a CTC/SRC fairly easily, I was trying to get one started a few months ago but kinda gave up on the idea, but it'd definitely help. Get in touch with TW1ST3R, and see if you can organise something with Bojan. I don't have time to run it, but I'd be happy to help out.

And what's funny, at some time or another, a lot of the old tuners come back, just never at the same time, so it's always pretty inactive and no one stays. They need to make some pact to come back at the same time and then it would be like the good old days, but they see no reason to stay when no one's there to see there work in the SR.

But I think that the NFS community has died a bit as well like you guys said, because it's not like the forum's very lively either. EA need to release an actual kickass game that revitalises the series and the site

Yeah first step will probably be to choose a game (preferably one that's popular in the SR at the moment) and compile a small list of themes.

As for the game, I think we could either go with Shift, Shift 2, Prostreet or UG2. However, Shift 2 is fairly new, not many people have the game yet and there's only a few people tuning with it in the Showroom right now, so that narrows it down to the last 3.

Just going through the Showroom, it looks like Prostreet is probably the most active game, so does everyone agree on that? Or does anyone think otherwise.

So yeah, now we need to think of some themes for the poll

We could take some popular themes from the last CTC poll that didn't win, think of our own or ask around for suggestions.

Edit: Another option I hadn't thought of is another World CTC, a lot of people are tuning in that game as well and we had a great turn out the last time we held a World competition - I think we hit 100 entries.

Hmm, the thing about World is that you want to keep it pretty open because World's vinyls aren't too specific in theme, and of course you need to spend a lot of time to get each car; I think that might be a reason their were so many entrants last time. So maybe have 'open' as a theme as well?

Other categories could include breaking down the cars by having a selected tier or type of car - i.e. Muscle Cars, or tier 1 cars. I haven't been on World for quite some time, and I can't update my installer with my download speed these days, so I'm not sure on what the tiers/how the cars are split up.

Once we've got around 5 or more ideas at least then I'll start the poll up. JDM sounds good, Hellaflush would be good as well, and stickerbomb might work, but there is only 30 something layers. I guess we can leave it up to the voters. These style's are pretty 'clean' in terms of vinyls though, so maybe some more options that allow a bit more freedom? Like the tiers/car types I mentioned before.

Completely disregarding what I've written above, (I'm writing this as I'm thinking, lol) to not make it too restrictive, how does a simple Tuner/Muscle/Exotic Challenge poll sound? Keeps it open, easy to vote..
