Well i think nfsu1 and nfsu2 are on par with graphics, just sum minor enhancements so if u could run nfsu1 ok then u should be able to tun nfsu2 ok too. BY the way that looks more than ok to run nfsu2 Morty, u might need a video card tahats totally compatible with direct x9 to get the motion blur and crowds and sum colour lookin how they should ok.
My card is only DX8.1 compatible but I could run NFSU at 1280x1024 with EVERYTHING turned on. But it looks like my box will be able to handle this:
CPU: Athlon XP 3000+
RAM: 768MB PC-2700 RAM
OS: WinXP SP2
HD: 80GB with about 20GB free
GFX: 128MB Gigabyte ATi Radeon 9200 VIVO oc'd
*starts the countdown for NFSU2 on my desktop*

1. its not twice better in graphics, i think it has the same gfx of NFSU1 ( a little big diffrent ) but not a big deal.Ragotich wrote:i had an ati 32mb and it was not enough for uns u1 ,then how the nfs u2 which is tiwce better in GRAPHICS got only 32 mb.i not think so.
2. it works on 32mb cards, some of my friends are playing with gforce cards 32mb and its working but without ( crowds and blur and so )
3.thanks bobyx, i think my cpu will handle it

100% dissapointed :/
I wont post my PC specs, nobody cares.
I only say that you have to be careful: those requirements are the MINIM. ones. I mean you need that to play at 640x480 with the crapiest gfx level.
The recommended specs are supossed to be much higher. Similar to those in nfsu1. Maybe a bit more due to free roaming thing, like GTA series.

@Stereo
Well dude, mine 850mhz and i'm gonna make it run, but my video is better, yea ur video sux, but with settig turned down it should work, i can run max setting on a geforce 4 440mx card 64mb, and it only has slight lags in the 1st lap only after that its super fast, remember turn off vsync, u may get better speeds with it off, turn anti aliasing too or leave it on application control, theres no major difference with antialiasin oon or off interms being able to see what it improves at all times.

At least I'm FAR above from what I need.
and you know what.. after a year... I got the feeling I need some upgrades... but won't be before febru, the 9800XT goes out and a X800XT goes in , a DVD burner added new case... again... still want the coolermaster wavemaster... now still working with a " simple" coolermaster alu case...
but think a AMD 64 3200+ with 9800XT still can do U2...for now...
but he first a new car... then a new comp

hmm yea i need upgrades too. But i dont have work. So no money.
System is made of upgrade based on 3 year old comp.
Time for a new CPU and maybe some more hdd space.
just upgraded videocard but since i dontplay pc games i bought a mid class one this time
Last time i spend like 450 bucks on a GF3Deluxe (brand new then)
And as Stiggy said.. a car..
But those damn 200sx's are frigging expensive.
So thats got to wait.. especialy since im planning to turn it into a Sil80.
Anyhow this was offtopic.
Quite good requirements. Most pc gamers should be able to play it. If not.. damn you got old hardware
