NFSU PC Rim issue

I'm having an issue with my rims...two, actually.

1: When I change my stock rims to custom rims, is there a way to get the stock ones back?

2: The real tech issue. I can't seem to get my wheels to go chrome. Does anyone know the trick to it? All I know about my hardware is that I run a super out-dated GeForce4, possibly an MX but I'm not sure.

Here's what I mean:

I either get that glossy grey, or a charcoal color on the Livia rims.

1.) No, you can't change to the stock rims when you've purchased a new set of rims

2.) Yes, you can change your rim color to chrome. Just use the LEVEL 1 paint and select the 3rd color from the left. REMEMBER, you can only see the chrome color when you're playing.

Umm...yes it is, that's where I got the screenshot.

Perhaps you're just not playing the PC version. I don't know if it's in the console versions or not.
