... A GeForce 3 Ti200 is close enough. Please post that pic. I'm planning to buy one and I will buy a new processor about 5 months later. I have to buy something under $60 bcause I have only $50, and my parents will just pay the extra $10 if needed...

It seems you don't really know anything about computer hardware.

It's not worth it at all. Do you just want it to look a little good? Sorry, but you are just wasting your money.

Hey, I don't want an opinion. All I want is a screenshot of NFSU or NFSU2 with that card.

Better make a screenshot of NFSU2 because NFSU1 doesn't need a good graphics card

NFSU2 needs exactly the same graphics card as NFSU.
A GF4 4200ti is the minimum there to have all those special effects.

BTW buying a GF3, even for $50 is a waste of money. Rather get a new radeon 9200 for the same amount of money. It should outperform the gf3. Have in mind that a gf3 is a prehistoric gfx card.

Didn't know that i thought with the same card the graphics off nfsu2 might be worse then with nfsu1, but thanks for the info Bojan

Game engine is the same ;)

NFSU2 demo did run a bit worse on my gf 4 4200, but the same effects were available (reflections, motion blur).

Let me put it this way, if I found a GeForce 4 laying around in a street, I wouldnt pick it up. But I would save my 50 odd quid for a year or maybe even put it in a bank ;)

To be honest, when graphic cards go down to such a level, you know its life is over. Its only good for testing an AGP slot or playing solitare :P

I currently own a 9200 128mb and while I can live with lowest gfx setting, I cannot live with wasted money as I only upgrade a couple of years or so....

Well, I tried, but I've not got a working mobo with an AGP slot the card fits in anymore

For $50 I have a GF4 card I'll sell you, it's not going to run the game with everything turned up, but it will run it fine, I just replaced it with a GF6600 GT-AGP card. FWIW, you can get a mobo with built in graphics for about $90 so save your money cause it will be at least GF4 quality. Otherwise may I suggest holding on to it and saving your money to get a newer card. Like someone said, put it in the bank and let it grow interest for a few months, while saving some more.

huh? 5200 is a dream?

5700 and 5900 are the minimum for a good 1024x768 experience !

hey, how about you had a GeForce 2 GTS 32MB, and you had to wait two years just to get a FX5200 because you only got $50 from working. I had to do that and for me, the FX5200 is a dream come tru. Also, if I work up more money, I will get a new CPU processor around 1.5-2.0 GHz.
