there is just one thing that is bothering me about speed chal. ive noticed that if you go off track even without hitting anything it slows you from 300 kmh to 60 kmh in about 10 meters. call me picky but thats not right even if you was to hit the bushes at 300kmh it would NOT slow you down that much
agree on this one to i love to see when u go off the road at 300 and ram yourself in air at 280 not at 60 damage i have seen from other vids is not that bad u can crash into a post at 300 and only have light damage

I dont know if am seeing things here, but before warming the tires up in the drag video, the mustang rear wheels werent moving, even though it was slowly moving to the start line.

I'm appalled by the smoke. I looks ugly. As if the car is spraying insulation foam out the tires. It looks to thick

OMG that smoke looks soo horrible rofl.

How come NFS sponsors a lot of drift events (Formula D, D1GP), but can''t create a decent drift mode. And finally a Silvia, I had expected that car much earlier in the series.

the smoke looks better than most, so dont' complain.

btw, if you watch the whole need for speed part of on the spot, when the first part of the drift race is shown, you can see the nsx leave, but when he pauses, the last option in the menu is clearly "photo mode". Yay!

Look closely at the video to see that there may be improved control on drifting finally. First you get the car to slide by steering into the corner and the by turning the wheels the other way you can control the slide- like real drifting. They had that in Carbon but it was automatic there.

where did u see the NSX leaving, because when the Silvia entered, the RX7 was leaving. Anyway, I like how the car handles, and you can here the announcer cheering up and commenting about the drifting. pretty cool

They go into a race for a couple of seconds and you see an NSX leaving, then they pause and talk for a bit, and then show the full drift race, with the FD leaving.

IMO,Pro Street is in the third place of The best NFS games. But it's your choice...

Sorry for this.I can't ignore his stupid posts.Sorry again mods.
On-Topic.
The new drift looks very good, the best drift system in all NFS series. But we have to feel it ourselves to test it.But it looked very realistic, imo.

My God, the smoke has no feel in the gameplay... Its either one or off.
what i mean is, the smoke is either not there or its extremely dense all of a sudden. Theres no intermediate level of smoke. Very poor.
It looks like EA learnt how to make the smoke 'look' realistic, but not how to use it well in the game!! :|

EDIT: After I posted, I realised how stupid the post was. Forgive me. I agree Zero260, the smoke should be gradually thicker. But as for the: "maybe in the next NFS". Who knows? After all, EA said the Most Wanted were going to be thier last NFS game.

Well all these "complaints" can be used as feedback and help improve the next NFS if not this one. And pretty much everyone on this forum are car enthusiasts, so I'm sure some have been to some kind of racing event. I've been to a couple of drifting events myself and I know Maverick2K4 has too (I can't speak for the rest of you). And don't get me wrong, the smoke is a great improvement but it would be 10x as cool if it wasn't so thick and instant. The smoke should be gradually getting thicker, not a huge cloud as soon as the tires lose traction.
