Ok, I'm not saying speeding is cool, or the-thing-to-do, but I am simply curious. I expect that some peeps will be telling porkies tho saying that they reached Mach1 in their 1100cc Nova's
There is a time and a place for enthuastic driving, and only if the conditions permit. Fast driving does not kill, poor drivng does.

240km/h or so - in a Audi 200 turbo which a college friend of mine used to drive. It was fast, scary as hell and I never went that fast myself on any road (that was on a highway - we knew no cops were around, and the road looked clear as far as we could see. So he floored it from the start until he decided it was enough for the car, and backed off.
BTW, who ever drove on Autobahns will put most of us to shame!

you don't wan't to know...
really... you just let go of the trottle and brake a little.. this slows you down pretty fast (wind drag) and no you can't make a emergency stop...but you can slow down fast without skidding.
and Don't sit up straight... until you under 200 KM/h (125MPH) or your (almost)blown from the bike.
BTW I don't advise to do it....
If you like to try a speed do it on a track or on the biggest track in the world THE german Autobahn.... (if it's quiet)

Nice to drive on top speed on the Autobahn, but not funny to see a guy with a faster car.TheStig wrote:you don't wan't to know...
