Web browsers

Post by peterfaj »

What web browser do you use and what you like about it?
If firefox, what extensions do you have installed and what theme do you use?

I use firefox, currently 2.0 (I recommend getting it)
I like it's security, tabbed browsing, restoring accidentally closed tabs and windows, themes and extensions, bookmarks, easy multimedia stuff installing, and on and on...

Extensions:
Adblock Plus (with all subscritptions)
Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer
IE Tab (for sites and shiznit made for IE)
Talkback
US English Dictionary
Slovenian Dictionary

Dictionaries for spell checking.

Theme: iFox (2.3.5)

Remind me of other popular browsers to add to poll.

I like firefox, even pages that need IE can be used in it now with IE Tab. Tabbed browsing is such a nice feature and it has a good pop-up blocker, can't seem to block the stupid one that comes up when I go to this site.

Oh, yeah, pop-up blocker, forgot to mention, it blocks all pop-ups for me. I don't get any pop-up when entering this site, not even a message that a pop-up has been blocked. Even if I disable the pop-up blocker I get no pop-up on this site.

Chatzilla - IRC thing
CustomizeGoogle
DOM Inspector (dunno why)
Fasterfox - Makes Firefox faster . . . somehow
FlashGot - integrates download manager
Forecastfox - adds weather forecast to browser
IE Tab
Image Zoom - allows me the adjust zoom on images
NoScript - awesome tool, blocks all unwanted javascript
ReloadEvery - allows you to set automatic page refreshes
SlimSearch - more search stuff
VideoDownloader - allows me to download videos from Youtube etc.
