Laura Southgate, one of the girls running for the title of the star character in the next Need for Speed game, has asked us to show her some support and vote for her in the poll. She even sent us a nice ltitle exclusive picture. Be sure to go and give her a vote here and if you're not sure if you really want to vote for her, stop by in our forum and let her convince you.
A nice move by Laura, I must say, since it is the Need for Speed fans who are best to decide who the next NFS model should be.

Whatever, she's got my vote. (and I didn't really care about this contest either)
I mean as much as I love women, any of those models would have done fine. But in a game it doesn't matter really so long as the girl you're focused on is not like 300 kilos or something. Not to sound shallow but it's so true, ANY guy would agree with me.

Obviously you're not multi-talented like me then.redarmy wrote:iFT: When I play a racing game, I race. I don't look at women while at it
But seriously I get your point. Though the model isn't part of the racing aspect of the game, the model is part of the eye-candy and story, to make a successful game those are two things you need.

Disagree,
Actors in any game need to differ in their appearance so they would keep the long-term genre fans interested in storyline. Sure, storylines need to have at least slight connecting between them, but still, when you see same type actors in every sequel its kinda boring as you already remember them from previous part. By type i mean the same type of appearance.

I case you did not notice it was mainly the other members that discredited her.Finalmaster2 wrote:Because of her act on forums yesterday, I'm not going to vote her. Maybe someone else, idk. Haven't really got so much intrest on NFS11 when NFSC is still on "beta".
Ok it was a bold move of her, and it looked arogant.
But for some reason people here had to act like they know it all and managed to instantly turn someone into a liar!
And it is original and have to say it is the best place to get some realistic votes (from people who play the game)
I personally don't really care about the storyline in the NFS games, cause since U2 they have the same basics (car stolen or crashed go to new city and start all over and beat the existing racers and become No1.. ooh and get help from a model )
As for the actors, I don't need a well known actor or model.
ooh btw Laura you got my vote for the "act on the forums" yesterday

we do find u very atractive... but as u already know... its a tough competition. afterall thoose are all FHM girls, not some gravedigger daughters
stil imo this should definitly get u some points, maybe even win. I myself didnt vote 4 u, but considering that u re only 18, u get most respect among the other girls.
cheers
