Steering wheel use in NFS CARBON ps2

How is it? Does the game support it well? I am talking about buying a steering wheel thing to plug into the controller slot.

Please include information on the pedals as well, and the buttons needed to hit for nos, slow mo, etc. Also the gear shifter...?

And on recomendations for which one i should buy if any?
