Single city + free roam or closed tracks at multiple worlds?

Post by SP4RCO »

After having checked NFSHP2 has the best tracks for you, now choose what do you prefer: an open world (latest games) or 4-5 litlle maps, 2-3 closed tracks each one (older nfs series)

Pick your choice

Don't say you want several scenarios and free roaming all together, since that is the I-want-EVERYTHING-and-dont-know-to-choose answer  kthx

but you can see how your car acts while its racing on a real track...

yes, i would like free roam for police chases and outruns, but for circuit racing it has to be on a closed track. sprints need to be on a mountain road or a scenic route, because intersections everywhere suck. drag racing should be on a highway. anyways, i choose different worlds and closed tracks because nfs has really screwed free roam lately.

closed tracks, because they have more of a realistic feel to the game, with the the pit stops, and stuff like that

Closed tracks, it doesn't have to be real racetracks but a well build track like they did in NFS 3 and 4 will be just great.
Real racetracks would be nice also like the Ring but then they have to be build exactly like they are in real life.

Tracks like:

- Mountain tracks
- Highway tracks (short ones for drag races)
- forest tracks
- coastal line tracks
- Desert tracks
- and ofcourse city tracks in big cities like London, New York, Paris and Singapore stuff like that it doesn't have to be exactly like in real life but just so you can recognize it.

IMO a good build track beats free roam every time.

I agree with you, who even uses free roam unless they have nothing better to do?

Closed track for me too.. But it'd be better if the length of the track could be longer. :)

Closed track how many track it gonna be in the game! all over the world! eh?
Well, guys because I like to drive I love free roaming but also as other people said that AI traffic really sucks in the NFS.
So that would be good looking at the people cheering at the closed circuit for you.
If it would be all the same enviroment, It would sure boring more than traffic.

I'll go with free roaming!

One problem with free-roaming is how EA creates tracks BASED on what the free-roaming will give, but with closed tracks, EA can create any kind of track they want, allowing for more diverse tracks.

Closed tracks. Racing in the city got pretty old. I wanna race in places like Nurburgring and Suzuka. (Might have spelled those two wrong)

I love the good ol' tracks from High Stakes. There was so much variety and the tracks were so well designed. Even though there weren't a lot, the few quality tracks has great replay value and I played them on end, so of course I went with closed tracks. If I want free roam, I'll go with GTA.

I wouldn't mind seeing abit of both but i am leaning towards closed circuit. Maybe have the option of driving to the racetrack from ur garage or something along those lines.
