I wont recommend gaming on a Laptop, it sucks, and your graphics are shiznit. It probally wont run NFSU2 either, because most laptops have at most a 64 mb graphic card.
The laptop itself looks good, it's good for the other uses you have for it. But you could get a cheaper laptop to do the same. But for gaming your biggest problem is going to be the Graphic Card in the laptop.

Centrino is a very good choice when you need mobility as it consumes half the power athlon-m and p4-m cpus do. With a centrino cpu you can expect up to 5 hours of battery time.
It of course isn't meant for gaming -> cod, nfsu2 won't even work on this particular laptop.
IF you need a laptop for gaming, get one with a radeon mobility 9600 or bettergfx card.

ants, you'd be better off buying a desknote, a laptop with desktop processing powers in terms of processor and graphics.
even better, why don't you just upgrade your current desktop (if it is yours)? anyway, whatever laptop money can buy, you can most certainly find a better desktop for.
however if you really must go for portability, i'd suggest a desknote, mainly because of your gaming demands.
