Near chase, it's close to the car and very responsive. l can never use first person, it really throws me off when drifting or taking turns.

Bumpercam here. I like to be *in* the turn, not twenty feet behind it. :)

Bumpercam... all the way I drive like sh*t with a chase cam I can't make the turns I swerve all over the road...

I sometimes use other cams when I don't need to race (free roam) to look at the car or serounding...(sometimes can see more with other cams)

but for racing I want to be in the car... not behind it.. like GT said

I race hood cam when drifting, but seeing as how there is no such thing in MW I guess I have to go with near cam. :?

Bumper cam. Get the best feel of speed and like Stig said, taking corners is much easier and you don't swerve all over the road.

In most race-games I always use the "Near Chase-camera".
But when there's a cockpit view, I always use that one. :P

I Use Bumper cam since... well I don't know.... the first racing game I played or so... I don't know better then that I use it for NFS games.

I don't want anything to obstruct my view, and constantly a car in my view is a NONO. a cockpit view looks nice but uses half the size of the screen.

Chase view does have some advantages that you can see further in some cases, but it also blockes the view on hills so you don't see things comming (and knowing NFS there is traffic there)

I tend to use far chase, as it shows more of the car's surroundings, and of course, the car itself. Until the actual sensations of a car's movement can be replicated in a peripheral device, I'd rather see what the whole car is doing.

Bumper cam or far cam mostly
Its kinda funny but I can't use the hood cam at all[/i. I literally get distracted by all the pretty reflections

I always use the hood cam (I think - the one where you are basically at the base of the windscreen and can see the bonnet, anyway). It's the nearest to being actually in the car, therefore the nearest to real driving. I would prefer a proper cockpit view, but hey, you can't have everything and I can't get the camera mod to work (it's probably me being a plonker, but never mind!)

EDIT - sweet as... I've just noticed I'm the only person to choose hood cam. I always knew I was unique!

i use the far chase cam... the game seems more fast-paced with that camera angle. sometimes i use the hood cam.... but only when im just cruising, never during a race or a pursuit

you are right the chase cam makes it look more fast paced, and that is the exact reason I DON'T use it. I want to have maximum control and maximum field of view to get the best times.

I like far chase but when i need to make all kinds of complicated maneuvers the bumper cam works best for them.

The bumper cam I don't use for arcade-y games like NFS. I always use far chase. Far chase allows me to see the distance much easier for me to manuever much quicker, and also to see what the cops are doing.
