I'm getting close to buying this game as well. But I use a Linksys wireless USB adapter. It gets anywhere from 11 or 12 Mbps to 24 Mbps. Sometimes 36 but that's rare. There's a couple doors and a few walls between the adapter and the router on my dad's computer, which runs on cable. I'm wondering if...

I haven't thought of that, I wasn't sure if it was possible to read individual files from the CD. Besides I don't like any of the music from the game so I wouldn't have reason myself to anyways.

Say you were to play a NFSU music prank

So we can use a music importer to change the music in NFSU 1. If you know someone who has it, I thought it would be a good prank to change their music without their knowing. Or change it on your computer and have people who never played the game try it out. And replace all the music with a bunch of ...

It's not likely you'll be caught downloading music. But if I were using Limewire, not saying I do, but if I were, I wouldn't put it on a forum.

I'm 28. I mentioned conflicts with Minutemen. I'm not an illegal immigrant, I've just been at odds with the Minutemen LOL.

I'm Korean and English and Irish. I usually don't post a more identifiable photo of me online since I've been in conflict with local Minutemen and they love to take photos and post them on the internet and accuse them of being "goons."

I didn't see this thread until now. Well I'm a NFSU gamer who went looking for a way to change the music. I found this forum through Yahoo search and found out here about the download to import music to NFSU 1. And I guess there isn't one for NSFU 2 as far as I know. And I like the forum so here I a...

I don't really have a title idea, but I like the car parts and accessories building aspects of the Underground series. I'd like races that take place in the ...

I had a ton of twisted and messed up ideas for Grand Theft Auto: Bagdad. I posted them in a GTA forum but I haven't seen it in a while. Maybe I'll find it one day. I'd want a racing game just like NFSU 2, but without the Drag and Drift races. Just straight-forward racing plain and simple. Whether it...

Okay you guys got me. I'm using a screen capture from NFSU 1 which I just started playing after changing the music to Slayer, Judas Priest, and Motley Crue songs. But I still don't see myself putting all those fancy clock and weather panel things or extra task bars or like 30 icons on the desktop. ;)

If you convert MP3 song files into the game, some may be not as loud as others. You can use Audacity to increase the volume of the MP3 files, then convert those. It's a bit of clicking, dragging, and saving work but it's worth it. Get "Metal Meltdown" by Judas Priest and use that song when...

Cool, as long as Zone Alarm isn't all over the place like McAfee and I can infact have it on my PC even if I don't have it open I may as well check that out. Yeah I know what you mean by McAfee. I mean, when I got this computer, I had to run all these update downloads and restarting Windows over and...

Right now I'm using this as my desktop with icons and taskbar hidden. I'm not sure why putfile made the resolution smaller, it's originally a lot bigger.

I used to use Zone Alarm on an older computer. It was just a firewall. Does it do anything else now, like virus scan? I just set up the free Alwil Avast! anti virus and stuff and I don't see a clear way to shut it down when I want to. Plus I still have McAfee on here. Probably not good to have those...

I'm sure a quad video card set up will muscle through San Andreas. But there's still some programming techniques I'm sure Rockstar Games may have passed over when making the game. Anyways, all other games I play run good.

I think it's not just your hardware, it's also how the games are programmed. I used to use my dad's Dell Dimension computer, I forgot the specs, but 512 MB of RAM and some integrated 128MB video card that it came with. It ran Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City on full settings. No problem really. Then...

Hi I'm new to the forum. I searched Yahoo on how to change the music and it brought me here and through these forums I found that AstImp.zip download I needed. Thanks.
