Very interesting stuff there bobyx! Since I joined I'm continually impressed with the scope, capabilities, and stability of NFS Unlimited and had often wondered how rocky the road leading to this point might have been.

Heh, I see a little of myself in your earlier days there - I came to the NFS scene relatively late, with HP2, but I liked that game enough to create a fansite of my own - all static pages made with MSWord (!) and consisting mainly of screens and walkthroughs that I put together myself. It enjoyed quite some popularity for a time, mainly from the GameFAQs community, but the maintenance soon became tiresome and when I ran out of webspace with my provider, I tore the whole thing down. Still it was a great experience and looking at NFS Unlimited, I can see my dream site in action.

Props and kudos to you on bringing this thing so far. I'll certainly be staying on to help the site continue to thrive!!

Thanks very much for your replies, I really appreciate it!

And I think there are no worries that the Need for Speed series will not continue. As you can see EA is already making something new... If NFS8 will be a NFSU2 or a classic NFS game is yet to be seen. Hey, they might even surprise us by releasing both games somewhere this year!

I'm also not gonna give up on this site now that I've come so far with it! And since edge is a stable host that will stick around I think there's nothing to be worried about

And you guys (especially viper and superracer), NFSUnlimited wouldn't be what it is if it weren't for you!

i don't know if that will be the final desgin........i was thinking about doing another 2 then holding a poll, but the current one has kinda grown on me now......so i'm not sure

2,3 years ago i already knew this website.. coz i wan to download some cheat files for NFS 5!!
i still remember that at that time, the page was white background, and a big Unlimited banner using NFS5 fonts...
2,3 years later i revisiting this website, and the page appearred differently... that time i wonder.. is this the NFSUnlimited??
