Google "AutoCAD Tutorials" and you are bound to find something good. That is how I learned.

Tunerfreak, the best version of Zmodeler is v1.07

Thats what I always used :P

Zmodeler is MUCH easier than 3ds. :)

Looks nice, that's perfect for a game model, you know... If your 2D work ain't bad why don't you try texturing it.

Id make the suspension wider and beef up the wheels a bit.

The middle carrage looks too fat, imo.

Is 1/16" too much spacing for fit and finish?

I found a program called Terragen, it makes some good landscapes for a free program. Here's the LINK.

And this is the first thing I made in it.

Hey that looks like the first thing I ever modeled . And did you use 3DS for that. Looks nice, but the barrel is a little bumpy around the rim but other than that it looks good and you should texture that.
Off-topic: just to let you know your sig is too big max is 50kb your is 171, and welcome back.

So your using 3DS to do that? But If we used the same tut then it should have said how to texture. But I can't seem to find a tut on how to texture, all I can tell you is press M and it should bring up the material browser. I can't explain how to go from there but I know how.

We just got 3DS Viz on the comps at school, and I was wondering how to smooth polygons.

-EDIT-
I redid my 'hogs, made the wheel base wider tand the body less fat. It looks a lot better. :)

well, yesterday i tried to do another render and i think it turned out ok. i made the front of a gun with the silencer on it. the only reason i didn't go further is because it was too hard to make a full gun without any model picture or blueprints. anyway here it is

I know this is a late reply. You can move the images. It tells you how in the tutorial.
