Thats why Carbon Fibre airboxes are so useful, as well as carbon fibre engine covers.xHaZxMaTx wrote:I founf out something very interesting about carbon fibre the other day. Apparently it disipates heat well enough to make engine parts out of. Go fig.
Also, CF is sometimes used in drive train parts because of friction, and the fact that powdered graphite can be used as a lubricant without risk of damaging the parts.
