Hey guys, new to the forum, i just picked up NFSMW Black Edition the other day and after installing it, a message popped up saying "thanks for playing NFSU2, here's some extra cash to get you started."

I was thinking to myself cool, but when i go into a shop, i can only buy paint or body stuff, all the performance upgrades for every car are unavailable.

and the little box next to where it says which item youre on our of the total number of items, (i.e. 1/12) it always says 20/20, as the stock part, and where the shopping carriage icon pops up when u select a part for purchase usually is it has a check mark, and next to that en exclamation point.

does anyone know why i have no performance parts available to me?

Because you just started the game. The more blacklist oppenents you defeat the more parts you unlock.

but shouldn't some parts be available off the bat right
like at the start I can't even buy nitrous or anything

I've already beaten izzy
so I'm not that new into it

have you won any races yet i dont remeber if you can start buying stuff after you win like two races or if you have to beat sonny

huh thats weird

try downloading a savegame that starts you out at 0% completed and see if you have the same problem. by now you should be able to buy things for your car.

Hmm.. Are you using a saved game with bonus cars?

On every locked part it says Beat bla bla to unlock this part,that means u have to beat some blacklist racer to unlock that part

wow thats wierd!! i know that you have to beat sonny to get some parts but after izzy you should have at least a couple parts...... try starting a new game.

Heh, I'm having the exsact OPPOSITE problem. I'm only BL #8 and I have every part unlocked.

i dont know....... i never had a problem like that. its probaly the game...it keeps screwing up and either like ikethegoalies situation and it doesn't help them or like xHaZxMaTxs situation and it does help them...... i don't know. :-l
