porsches were great handlers. quick in acceleration, reached highspeeds easily, great in cop fight :)

One thing that's left me wondering since the start of the Underground series is why BHP is not shown anywhere? I mean, it would seem like a fair measure to compare cars with friends or others online. I really like the way it's implemented in GT4, hell, even in Street Challenge! Would it be so difficult to set the base BHP for a car and make all performance parts that affect it add up to it?

Ya... I am holding myself on the opinion on BHP like in Juiced... why? Well, I dislike the BHP messing about your all races (the races support, example 200-299 BHP) and it disturbes me. But if it would be just harmless BHP showing and not being so important than just knowing how much horse power does your tuned car have. And another is using that team cr** from Juiced (which is just copy-catting) as I surely am positive I will roll alone the whole game!

U or U2 don't have any porsches, but MW has some...By the way 'What have u mentioned in the past for ea to change' if u mentioned something and it has been changed then that means...means...There is a EA member here...looking at us (I C U, U Don't C ME 'T-Tox :lol:') following us, I can feel it all around...He might be posting to this forum...But i can feel it :shock: I will keep my eyes open for the suspicious :lol:

EDIT: I no who it is He has a EA signature his name is 'Ragotech' His been looking...(I feel like a psycho saying this :lol:)

In actual fact quite a few EA people swing by NFSUnlimited fairly regularly. It's one of the best ways to keep in touch with the gaming community.

Yes, I agree that NFS should not let BHP affect the game, nor should there be any limitations in races, except multiplayer, where you could choose to run against players with cars of similar BHP, or not. But just an indication of my cars' BHP in the garage would be enough.

And if you think that the team concept is as in Juiced, you've obviously haven't followed any developer interviews. You won't have others doing the driving for you, as it happens in Juiced. You can have team members jumping in and "accidentally" blocking an opponent, or a teammate jump in to give you some draft, some good acceleration to reach your top speed faster. Out of the race, the crew members will allow you to have more options in stores, or get you out of trouble with the cops.

So... Juiced? No, not really.

1) To be more specific, each class and tier of car has a different number of engine upgrades available. The first engine upgrade you make, you will not hear a change in audio, it will be a physics only upgrade (ie. the car will perform better, but the sound will be the same). The second engine upgrade you make, your exhaust note will sound different/more powerful. The only exception to this rule are cars with only one upgrade available, in which case you will get a new exhaust sound on the first upgrade (hehe, except for the CarerraGT, we couldnt find a better sounding car to record that would work as an upgrade :))

PC, Xbox, Xbox360 and PS3 (and hopefully Wii) will support Dolby Digital 5.1, PS2 and Gamecube will support Pro-Logic II surround.

Hope it hasn't been posted before.

Liking the 5.1 Surround integration :D

And I totally understand and agree with the concept of engine and exhaust sounds changing only with certain upgrades.

EA is really blowing my mind with Carbon.

I dislike the fact to add teammates and all Juiced stuff, because I in fact, dislike Juiced as a racing game. NFS is 100x better and should not copy-cat the weaker enemy!

EA isn't copying the WHOLE game, only the team thing, because you're saying "all the stuff"....not mate......

Also is OBVIOUS that EA is not going to copy juiced because it's obvious that juiced was a failure, a TOTAL failure....and obviously, it's Need For Speed...

who cares if they copy one part or not. the point is this is going to be a great game and i will buy it as soon as it comes out. i wonder with the team thing if you can get in a pursuit with team members also that would be so cool

Hmmm, I was just looking at the officially confirmed cars so far and there just happens to be 25. Wonder if EA's 50+ cars means 51 cars? Anyways, there's a Vauxhaul Monaro in Carbon. Anyone willing to have a little wager whether the Pontiac GTO makes it into Carbon?

that sound thing is awesome! can't wait to play the game on high volume, so when a neighbour passes my window, he'll grab his head wtih the hands! :twisted:

i wonder, is the canyon racing mode available in the multiplayer?

Actually, I hope EA adds the Pontiac GTO. Then maybe, just maybe, they'll add the 1969 Pontiac GTO as an old-school muscle car.

noooooo....... no tduplicating juiced cars duplicate cars in the game like in MW we had the monaro and the gto they are exactly the same. i would rather have the new gto rather than the monaro imo

Juiced was a failure because if it's complicated gameplay as teammates are, I don't want teammates :( Anyways, I'll buy the game also and I'll play it also!

false, it was because its game system about the calendar and the "car physics"

Oh, common, as other facts, yes that was, but I counted calendar races with complicated gameplay and car physics also... I can't wait for Carbon, because of the Canyon challenges!
