Not my type of movie anyway.
I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie. You have to appreciate art since the movie is of artistic style. I also read the graphic novel after watching the movie. I believe I've seen the movie at least 3 times...one of my all-time favourite...

Cant wait for Spider-Man 3, 2 days till release here.
Did I say anything about visuals? I don't see anything about visuals. Art is more than visual...I suggest doing a bit of research before blurting out pointless comments.boganbusman wrote:Artistic style? Bollocks.
Visuals alone don't make a good movie, in the same way that visuals alone don't make a good video game. So 300 is like the Doom3 of movies.

Anyways, never liked Spiderman. Cheap effects and every time it's the same thing over and over again. Now Transformers on the other hand......there's a movie worth seeing. Michael Bay + Steven Spielberg = lethal combination.

Of course art is more than visuals, but I don't see any other form of art in the movie.2furio wrote:Did I say anything about visuals? I don't see anything about visuals. Art is more than visual.
The music was bland and generic, the story was mind-numbingly simple and the acting was nothing to get excited about. So exactly what 'artistic style' were you talking about?

300 DVD
How could you turn it off? It's not even on DVD yet.boganbusman wrote:I started watching 300, but I got bored even before the fighting started and turned it off. It just seemed so generic and typical of a Hollywood cash-cow.

yap you are right it is coming August this year but i have to say i did not see this coming cos in the end of rush hour 2 it was said there is no third part and i did not think that Jackie Chan will be able to perform again. ''he is old now ''BrontoX wrote:Has anybody heard of a Rush Hour 3? I think i saw an announcement on some site that on August 10th there is going to be Rush Hour 3 but i am not sure about it.
there it is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293564/
I find that Spider-Man 3 is a very good film, but with its being the third, it has some loose ends from the two previous films that it needs to tie up and it thus tends to get a little prolonged at times and it has a couple of sentimental moments, too. That aside, it has some excellent scenes and great fights, the aforementioned loose ends were tied together very well - and the emo twist was hilarious. The only thing I hated (deep, deep hatred, btw!!!) was how Spidey swings by the American flag That made me genuinely want to vomit and leave the cinema, had it not been for my date lol
