It's not so much the date that makes a topic dead, but what info it gives us.
A topic kick isn't always bad, for instance in this section if the car info topic hasn't been touched you can still post there if you want to know anything about cars, (even when it wasn't a sticky)
But topics like these are just made to be a abit of fun and they should not be kicked again.

Only topics when you have something serious to say.
