Nope..krazyammo wrote:could you customize the car in the demo?

The demo is fun!
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
Demo thoughts: The smoke was cool ive been crashing and doing burnouts more then racing, the graphics are great i would agree with EA about 'photo realistic'. The GTR proto is a nice car handles well also i can get it to drift alittle, strange thing about it is the sound of it reminds me of a tuned up Nissan skyline GTR R34. The BMW is great for crashing
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Final thoughts: This demo will kick bumbum! also way better then carbon etc etc.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
What do you guys think about the production GTR? I think they made some great changes to it... Though, those carbon fiber pieces below the headlights on the Proto grew on me after a while. But the car turned out great, can't wait to see one on the road in 2009.

1000 Horsepower.....mmmmmmmmmm.......Thats good to know because all the car types, such as exotics, muscles and tuners will be evenly matched horsepower wise i hope. Why wouldn't it be possible? Check this out may not be 1000hp but 910 seems close enough

The next batch of vehicles have been released on IGN. The Corvette Stingray is in the game!
They also list modified versions of those vehicles in the screeshots section as well.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
I was really lucky yesterday. I got to try the Drag, Drift and Grip (Normal racing) in a place called Electroworld in Norway. (It was the full game).
Drift: The physics is just lovely. Way better than carbon's and Underground's drifting. Best of all, it is much harder!
Drag: Heating tires is kinda fun, works ok as a minigame. You also feel it looks more like a real life drag strip, than just a normal street. Also, it is really about shifting gear at the right time, because if you miss it (too early or too late, doesnt matter), you will lose a lot of time. It might help using the nitrous.
Grip: Just normal racing, reminds me more of the gran turismo physics, as you actually have to break before turns. The map i drove was a 3 lap race where 1 round took about 1:40 to finish.
Overall: This is really looking to be a good game from EA, finally. Didn't get the chance to try customization, but looking forward to it. Also, i have to say that i find the drift and drag more fun than grip.
Feel free to ask some questions if you want.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
