Wow, I missed a lot.

I can take constructive criticism, but when it's given by graphic noobs I don't do what they suggest. If you think it looks like the car is doing a front wheelie and drifting you have no idea what perspective is. I have a camera (it was at home at the time I made the sig), but I'm not going to take a picture of some crappy road here.

Sorry that I'm replying late and may be 'stirring' things up, but Jop, it doesn't take a graphics professional with a degree to give a fairly reasonable opinion about what looks good.

Look at the angle of the car. It's an angle that is VERY hard to work with. Second that was the BEST picture I found and I did a little perspective tweaks on it to get it nice.

If the angle was so terrible, why not use a different image of the car? I'm sure there are at least dozens more on the net of that one.

Lastly, I personally don't really care about what "graphics gurus" think about your sigs; the people you are trying to appeal to are the vast majority, so you should consider our opinions higher than theirs if you want to get anywhere in life with your work.

I am not going to keep my mouth shut when someone calls me a "graphics noob" and doesn't respect my criticism. And I never said my opinion was better than anyone else's, just that it should be considered highly (along with anyone else's on this forum) as we are the "audience".

The reason I suggested that he could have found another image of that car was BECAUSE it was from ProStreet, as there are tones of in game shots of the GT-R. Unless of course, it had to be that exact GT-R with that vinyl combination.

Lastly, I already stated that I didn't want to start anything, I was just defending my earlier post because I have not checked it since then.

By the way, S2K, don't bend my words to make it sound like I say unreasonable things like making me look like I think I'm some sort of god. And my previous comment was only directed at Jopuma for him to ponder, so I don't know why you are getting all worked up about it and being protective of him.

Hmm, the gradients are nice, but the text in the top one is almost unreadable because of its size, and in the bottom one it lacks a bit of contrast for it to be easily readable The dark red blends in a bit too much with the black bg.

Yeah, I think the dark one needs an outer glow or stroke for the text, so it can be easily readable.

That's a good render... would be better without the effects in the sig making it blurry.... ooh! and put him in a forest! Complementary colours! I got an idea =-)
