Re: Next Challenge Idea

Re: Next Challenge Idea

Re: Next Challenge Idea
Hmm... poor reception for the camo challenge. Where's the competitiveness just for the sake of competition. Well, more chance for me then Give it a go peoples!
Re: Next Challenge Idea
That camo challenge just sucks, I don't really care who wins it, lets get the next challenge running soon
Re: Next Challenge Idea
Camo's not that bad... it was the stealth secret ops thing that was a bit pointless... matte black car with lots of angles FTW... but that's not flashy.

Re: Next Challenge Idea
should be a team car challenge imo. Where people have to make at least 2 cars and merge them into one picture without adding any extra effects what so ever. This gives people much more to do, and stops there from being so many quick entries in such little time.
And if that dosent float anyone's boat...
There could be a Euro-GT challenge, where people must take a European exotic (EX: Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin, etc) and turn it into a "race-prepped" Euroxotic. Only no replicas and the car must have a roll cage, Number, at least 3 secondary sponsers(small decals), and no flashy rims. You want to make a car that would be able to look excellent on the grid at LeMans, or SPA, yet still look representable to race.
If that idea fails...
Then simple. A "Dub Edition" challenge. Easy as pie. What kind of Chevelle would nelly own(he probally owns one already ) Slam that cadillac and up the lowenharts to the max. Put a purple/sky blue tu-tone of that GTO and set it off with sky blue wires wheels. Lets put those flashy rims to good use.

and i second this challenge.. it would be pretty awesome.. or just simply get a movie/game theme and make a car out of that theme..donaldgladden wrote:should be a team car challenge imo. Re: Next Challenge Idea
Simple challenges are best IMO... you'll hit 20 layers too easily with a movie or game ride.
Re: Next Challenge Idea
D1 Style Challenge. That would be good.

I like that ideaThe Dodge wrote:D1 Style Challenge. That would be good.
Re: Next Challenge Idea

Baumaxx1 : we could also use this for the CTC .. just a suggestion though..

Re: Next Challenge Idea
Yeah, put it in the suggestions and themes thread and I'll make a poll for the next one when I tidy a few things up..

Well tbh nothing too high, just a middle rig, specs: AMD 4400+ X2, 2 gb Ram 800 DC, MOBO ASUS M2npv-mv and a Geforce 8600GT stock,, all the parts are stock, never OCed.
I run it on 1280x1024 with almost all in high and AA on
Wich is you new rig?
On this Pic you can see the quality of the graphics:

Re: Next Challenge Idea
I agree i would like to see a Juiced 2 challenge also:D
Re: Next Challenge Idea
Lol, Your CPU beats mine... I think that's what Juiced doesn;t like... E2180... good for Crysis on high, but bad for Juiced and 3D mark. Lol. I think I may have a save game, I'll give it a shot, and maybe CTC4 will be PS/Carbon/Juiced. Lol.

Re: Next Challenge Idea
Try to change that 2180 for a E4500 or maybe Oc the 2180, they are one of the best for this, with my rig i play crysis with a poor quality :S but the rest of the games doesnt show resistance , Bioshock in 1280x1024 with all in high , COD4 and GRAW 2 too.
PS: 8800 series is coming soon
