IGN Interview With Undercover's Bill Harrison

Post by Bojan »

IGN posted an interview with Need for Speed Undercover executive producer Bill Harisson. In the interview there's a mention of a multiplayer mode called Cops N' Robbers:
Bill Harrison: In addition to the classic sprint and circuit race modes, Need for Speed Undercover features an all new exclusive multiplayer mode, Cops N' Robbers. This visceral team-based mode supports up to eight players and pits two teams of four players against each other. Robbers must pick up the money and take it to the drop-off point while the cops attempt to prevent the drop-off. Each game consists of two rounds giving the players the chance to play as the Cops and as the Robbers.

There's also 4 new gameplay videos available here.

I doubt that. Autosculpt is back from ProStreet, so the vinyl system should be as well.

Yeah, though I haven't seen any screenshots or other media yet which show any at-all advanced vinylwork or decal arrangements. Though they could just be saving these pics for later on or something, and are just showing mostly-stock cars for now.

the gameplay is a bit more arcade but it looks damn good and exciting!!! :o :o :D
also the whole game looks like most wanted with pro street's gfx and all!:D
and i can see that the cops are improved just from watching the trailer.tricky!!! =D> =D>

That bright green "Police cruiser disabled. Cost to state $3600" is the single most annoying thing i have ever seen in a driving game. Not only does it obscure your view, but it pulsates as well, as if trying to distract you...

All I can Say: "YA BABY." This game is gona be OFF THE HOOK! The videos that i just saw looks really nice and yes I am enjoying the Cops. I only wish that they brought back Mr. Cross. That would have been really cool!

Your Thoughts On Cross?

all the videos are awsome lke damage in free roam cop tactics and all in one of the vids there is also damage on npc cars awsome

but the things that are looking meh in it is the driving looks kinda arcady (just a thought)

and im curious on the customition side hopefully they put in body kits with auto sculpt but also aftermarket parts like front bumper, side skirts and rear bumpers seperate and lots of them way more spoilers because pro streets selection was pathetic no offence to the people that like it. and a vinal system that doesnt slow down after the second and shows what your putting on kinda like juiced 2 and interior view and interior custmoization
[-o< :) 8)
thats all from me

Yeah, it's called a P.I.T. It was (supposed to be) in MW, the AI was just to stupid to do it right.
