Ive been browsing sites about Forza 3 vs GT5, and it looks like Forza 3 actually gives GT5 a run for its money.

Amazing considering the development time of GT5 compared to Forza 3.

Honestly, you can't compare the two. GT5 offers more cars and playability than Forza. They are not as similar as you think... I haven't played a good rally game in a while. I am dying for WRC.

Ofcourse you can compare the 2.

- They are both Racing games.
- They are both in the simulation sub genre
- They both will have a fair amount of cars (1 more then the other)
- They both will feature a fair amount of tracks.
- They are both 1 console specific.

So Say all you want, you can compare them, just like the previous installments.

We know you are a PS3 fanboy, you proven that already.
But please don't come and say stuff you can't back up.
But to compare and sum up:
- Yes "GT5 will have more cars (as did GT4) but taken into account that GT4 had so many double cars that it wasn't even funny anymore, Forza used the same trick but in a lesser extent.
- Playability? depends mate... really depends on what you consider playability, Sure GT5 will most likely have WRC and NASCAR (very interesting.... driving around a oval in for 500 miles) but what is the word on customising in GT5? creativity with vinyls.
The Forza Community is very big and a lot of people don't even race in game only paint cars in it.
So it all depends on what you consider playability.

Don't get me wrong GT5 looks like it's going to be yet a other great game, and I when it comes out (whenever that is) and the game really is great I might even get a PS3 just for GT5.

you say that NASCAR will be "interesting", but I beleive as long as they make the races short enough it can be done well. I've played NASCAR SIMRACING and though I thought it was going to be shiznit it's actually not that bad. On the other hand though, that might've been just because I enjoyed driving the wrong way and causing a massive pileup.

And that's the only way Nascar games can be fun, did that myself when I had a Nascar game, which did have damage btw and didn't look to shabby eighter, but racing could only be done whitout being boring when there where just 5 laps orso, and wrecking every other car while under a yellow flag.

I was leaning more towards the WRC aspect. I don't care for NASCAR. ^^

You can still compare the games. That would be like me saying Forza 3 will have a drifting mode in it so GT5 can't compare.

So far, all the features FM3 are including remind me more of a hardcore PC racing sim where as GT5 is just GT4 with shiny graphics and more cars.

Usually games that have been in production for a long time turn out to be amazing/epic. Look at Killzone 2 for instance.

Killzone 2 is pretty overrated. A game like Fallout 3 would better show what you're trying to prove.

Killzone being overrated doesn't make it bad. It's an amazing game and if you haven't played it then you're missing out.
And Fallout 3 is good, although I'm not really liking walking around in the wastelands at night, creeps the hell out of me.

Anyways, this is about Forza. ^^

If that is the case, Forza 3 is proving to be quite awesome for such a short development time when comparing it to the "Almighty GT5."

Can anyone shed light as to why there are people saying GT5 throwing in "WRC and NASCAR" mode is selling out and just trying to cash in on extra useless race modes?

Exactly my point, korge.

They think that the more modes GT5 has, the bigger GT5's penis is, therefore making it a superior game.

Annnd here it is. Not too many surprises here. A somewhat short list of mostly expected Japanese cars including some Super GT machines. Pitpass Reports can be expected bi-weekly from now on. :)

Also mentioned in the blog: there will be a couple exclusive screenshots released everyday for the rest of this week AND "Turn 10's E3 announce video" should be posted tomorrow... Sounds a bit overdue, but hopefully there's some new stuff in there.

lol that's going straight to my profile as my new sig lol

EDIT: I had to shorten it a bit to keep it under 90 digits but I think I've kept the most important bits in there
