This is the place to discuss and speculate on what the as of now 250 car list will contain. Apart from that, you can also talk about what cars you want to see and maybe something else related to the car list, such as potential police cars for the game.
I'll begin the discussion with the list of cars that is given on the Wiki which are cars that have been seen in screenshots and videos related to the game.

OVER 200!!!...yeah i had to do that. anyway....AE86 is present, 350z is too, 240sx too, RX-7 too, M3 E46...yeah i like this car list. now, where did you get the 250 car number info from...that seems weird. like for EA.(and a need for speed game which is supposed to be free) i sense "pay to get the full game" scenario...

Wow, 250 cars, hadn't listened to the podcast about WO because of my slow internet, but that's a great figure. If they're gonna have the most cars and parts in a NFS game, this is the game, because distinction among drivers is a big factor for me. You don't wanna see the same cars roaming around all the time.
Well as for the cars themselves, I think we can expect them to recycle most of the cars from all the games back to Most Wanted, but it would be awesome if they could bring in some of those tuners from UG 1/2 as well. I'm sure even then the majority of the cars would have to be new ones, because since MW they reused a lot of cars.
The list we've got so far is what you'd expect from NFS, from a quick glance I think I can safely say all these cars have been in a previous game in the series. I think one of the things for me when I saw the release of the SHIFT car list, was that (apart from thinking it was awesome) you'll see like 3 different versions of a Porsche GT3, with slightly different models and performance. Now imo this is a waste of time when there are so many iconic cars that could've been in there instead. I hope they don't do this in the WO car list, and they already kinda have with Lambo Gallardo, but that's okay for me because it's the '05 model and the '09 model, so it's not like your getting an identical car.
For what I'd like to see for the rest of the car list, you could probably find most of the cars I'd like in the "What cars do we Need (For Speed)" topic in NFS 2010, but I might as well go through it again -
Old school muscle - you gotta have a nice variety of classic muscle cars in here, they're quite a lot of muscle car groups around, so seeing some muscle clans around in WO will be great. And I don't just mean the obvious muscles, you know, the Shelby GT500 (Mustang over here), Plymouth Barricuda, Dodge Charger, Chevy Chevelle, Chevy Camaro, Plymouth Roadrunner, they're all a must have, and I doubt they'll be excluded, but it would be nice if you go for some more depth in the muscle list, for instance, get in one of my favourite cars of all time, the Chevy Impala, think I might spend all my money for suspension upgrades on that one xD
Imports - The choice of imports on the car list, I think, will be essential, your low end budget tuners will be the choice of many near the start of the game I presume, so giving people a good choice from the get go can help or hinder a persons willingness to keep playing. From the list already there, I would say that the Lexus IS300, Pontiac GTO (assuming it comes as a regular car), Corolla AE86 and Nissan 240SX would fit into the aforementioned catergory, and would be available sometime near the start of the game. And then you need your more high end tuners for people who are die hard import fans for later on in the game, there's not really any in the list above, but I guess you could include the 350Z, Mazda RX7 and definetely the BMW M3 in that catergory, the others (R32 Golf, Eclipse, RX7, Mazda 3) are more middle of the spectrum. I think also that I would love to see the R32, R33 and R34 in the game this time, as well as the Skyline 2000 and the new GTR, previously they have only had the R34 and/or the R35, but the others are just as awesome for me. Juiced 2 actually had the R32/33/34 and I thought it worked there. Other tuners I'd like to see are the Toyota/Lexus Soarer (can't remember which brand actually made it, annoying aussies keep swapping bloody badges on there cars so you have no idea lol), the Mazda RX8 (and all the other Underground series cars - excluding cars like the Peugot 206, Opel Corsa, stuff like that). Yeah, but realistically, there's infinite cars to choose from, there just some of the cars I can think of.
Exotics - Well I think we've seen a good selection of exotic cars over the last few years in NFS, you've got all the major cars from top end brands, the Lambo Murcielago/Gallardo/Reventon I would expect will all be in there, I hope you'll have to play a fair bit to be able to drive one of those babies, cos I don't want to see some noob driving around in a Reventon lol, same goes for the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda. Konnisegg CCX would be nice as well. And Aston Martin DB9, obviously the Lotus Elise as well are awesome cars. And was I the only one who thought the Alfa Romeo Brera in Carbon was awesome as a tier 1 exotic?
EDIT: Oh yes, and as ElvenAvenger said, the NSX and S2000 would be nice additions too.

I agree with you for the potential cars. A Chevy Impala would definitely be cool! What about some different exotics such as the B Engineering Edonis, the Bugatti EB110, the Bertone Mantide, or maybe even the BMW M1.

the S2000 idea and NSX idea came up due to the fact that, according to the wiki, they are using cars from MW Carbon PS and Undercover and then the new ones. and S2000 and NSX were present in PS, so maybe...unless Honda is still unhappy about cops. anyway, 250 cars means variety, and thats what we mostly want. then lets talk about "i want car X"

I was just thinking, why not release this car pack called "Classics" in which you have iconic cars of the past. How would this work in a NFS game like this you say. Here's the catch, these cars cannot be tuned and if they can, then it would probably be some bodykit which converts them to race cars and nothing more and maybe a couple of performance upgrades along the way.
Why so? it is because these are classic cars and adding something else would change everything we like about these cars.
What cars? I wasn't thinking something like classic American cars because we already have that. More of classic European cars such as a BMW M1, an old Porsche 911, maybe a Lotus Espirit and more.
Japanese cars could be the R32/R33 Skyline GT-R, the Evo V, VI.

Well actually, if they were tuned, they would become semi-racecars as this is a street racing game.
Something could be set up to make all the "Classics" cars with similar stats when compared to each other if fully tuned which would kind of even things out.

Considering they have 250 cars planned, they HAVE to bring new cars in. Even if they used cars from Most Wanted Carbon Pro Street Undercover UG1/2 then it still would not be 250. also add in the fact they cant use same car twice(unless cop version) and we should get pretty cool cars.

They could use cars like Toyota MR2, MR-S , 300ZX, 280SX(i think?), maybe some Golf 2, 3, 4 and 5, etc. that is always a possibility. i also wonder if your cars from Beta version will be avaible for you in full version or are you going to begin from scratch again?

No, I don't mean like that, maybe they might give beta users a more starting money, but I would assume that they'd give you some credit for microtransactions on products you'd have to work for, or faster XP gains or something, because that's what I've seen done with games similar to this in the past.

regarding the exotics: maybe add some reward cards for them, which would be based on some things like <Race 500 races total> for the best car, say. everyone can achieve it , but you wont see noobs have them after 5 hours of playing.

Well actually, if you always thought that the Lotus Elise was a bit underpowered then this is the car for you.
Same Lotus handling madness along with a bit more power.

Ford Escort RS Cosworth (Whale tail madness!)
Ford Focus RS Mark I
Ford Focus RS Mark II
Cars that I would like:
Renault Twingo Gordini
Renault Megane II RS
There are more but I just can't think of them right now.
The Camaro "Bumblebee" that he is talking about is actually the 2010 Camaro SS. In his car list he mentions the 2010 Camaro SS and the "Bumblebee" version, which are actually one and the same.

i'd also add the M3 E46, which is missing in the list in my opinion.(his list, i know its in the real one)
i hope this time around they include fully tunable M3 E46, and not just the pre-tuned one, and that exotics won't be just completely dominating the game + a random Z06 owning them on some tracks.
What about them revealing the carlist with "Car of the Day" posts?
