i dont understand why metal is in this underground culture really, true ricers and street racers all about rap/hip-hop, techno, dance trance etc.
they should get more rappers that rap about icing out their rides (ie big tymers/cash money millionaires, ludacris) 2fast2furious was a terrible movie very commercial IMO but the music made it 10x better
if metal was in car modding game it should be in where u make crazy cars and hotrods since thats the crowd that does that stuff. i replace lotta the metal songs with hip-hop songs and 2fast2furious songs which feels way more down with the theme

that is your opinion
I like some harder music when I drive... in real life and in the game...
and BTW... this is not METAL and the music in nfs u1 wasn't eighter
but yeah you are right... most ricers and everything that has to do with cartuning uses Hip-hop.... I see them everyday... worse even I hear and feel them everyday on the streets...
IMO a racing game (any racing game) needs some harder music to pump up the speed, and to be really honest most hip-hop and R&B isn't really a adrenaline booster... more likely slow you down into a relax mode...

This can only spell disaster...Snoop Dogg feat. the Doors - Riders On The Storm (Fredwreck Remix)
As much as I love the doors, there's just no place for "Riders on the Storm" in a street racing game. Of course, we all know since it's a Snoop Dogg remix, it's going to claw and scratch it's way in anyway...but how can you possibly mix the likes of The Doors with Snoop? Am I the only one confused to no end about this?
I'm actually sort of offended...this seems kind of disrespectful to the memory of Mr. Morrison.
I mean really. Look at Snoop's lyrics. How could he possibly lend anything to a song by The Doors? If anything, he'll sample the crap out of it, and turn it into a song about smoking dope and EA. (remember his track for GT3?)
I've lost all respect for Snoop, seriously. Ever since he joined No Limit, he's been nothing but a sell-out. He had a TV show, he made an exclusive track or two for a few videogames, he's EVERYWHERE on television, and now this.
The Doors and Snoop Dogg in the same song title is like cross-breeding a caterpillar and a warthog. I have no idea what will come of it, but we all know it won't be pretty.

I really don't know much names in the list... as in NFS U1 cause I'm not really in the Hip-hop/rap scene...and they are probably more popular in the US...some of the race tracks in NFS U1 I did know but that is cause I am more into rock and so... but still most I did not know... but found it cool... and I didn't dislike the menu songs in NFS U1 cause they do fit the style... so.... but I don't think I will listen to it when I'm in for a bit of music
