New Section

i think we should have a flaming section where users can let out all their anger and calm themselves and can start intelligent debates and argue with ppl ovr topics and just plain talk freely.
reasons:
NFSupreme has a flaming section, and i think that should inspire NFSUnlimited to have a "debate" section.
good points:
ppl will increase their vocabulary.
information will be exchanged.
there will be less suicides. [no offense]
every1 will comment the mods and the mods will therefore recieve more comments...

bad points:
nothing at all.

1) Hurt feelings- not good for decreasing suicides.
2) People increasing their vocabularies in such a manner is not necessarily a good idea.
Personally, I don't like it. Flaming is not allowed in this forum for a reason, I suspect. My opinion...we'll see what everyone else thinks.

true true...but wen i said vocab i also did mean high-level words like benevolent, enigma, condescending, pantomime, befuddle, boisterous, etc...i mean, ppl might use them to outsmart the person they're talking to.
most ppl will probably agree wit u, but i dont think...hey, i jus got an idea!!! this will go in accordance with ALL the rules here. there will be no flaming OR offensive posts.
okay, how bout there really is a Debate Section, where u r allowed2 debate on topics that are appropriate and there still is no flaming allowed? :shock

Well, there IS quite a difference between "intelligent debate" and "flame-ware" !!
The topics such as the Bush topic and a couple odd topics in the Cars section were alright IMO.

But I would guess that sometimes people will just loose their heads and things can become ugly........

I like the idea. We would have smarter users, maybe, they would use words instead of words ending in "Z"'s and stuff that takes a little time to understand.Definetelya "yes" from me. Great idea, Wowirace.

yea...i already no about the "Just Want To Talk" topic. but that "just talk" topic is random talking, and it is getting bogger by the moment.
The new "Debate Section" would be soley devoted to debating on appropriate topics....and all the rules would be enforced there, so there would be no flaming or anything if ppl follow the rules...and uptil now, alot of ppl have followed the rules...
i reaaaaally think u should consider this..it would be a benefit to all of the members here...and it would go in accordance with the rules currently in place.
