I think that contrast change is too much... there should be some limitations!

it was allowed to use in SR challenges for NFS U1 (te ingame shots was allowed to use motion blur (if you didn't have that option, cause else it would be useless) and to use things like lensflare and radial blur.

the rules for SRC 2 are in the hands of Dragster and the whole showroom is based mainly on total view, if alot is edited the goed directly in the recycle bin, some take time for us to let them pass or not. and sometimes we just did not see the edits (got alot to upload daily!)

there are no official rules to what not to edit, exept for that the car is not allowed to cange (removing the top, color changes, dif rims, other exhaust.. all stuff that is not in the game is not allowed)

we did not know the whole editing thing would become so HUGE, so we never written rules for other PS work.

u guys i think blurred rims overcontrast should be allowed cause u can still see how the car looks like right but for other things like color change or edited logos or nething like that should be deleted wat do uthink

Any part, from tire to roof, can't be edited AT ALL.

Yup, nothing edited. Just enhanced contrast, which is allowed (when done to the whole car, not just part of the car).

Dunno, what gfx enzo has but not sure if it's "that" great... I could never make windows look like that on my card (6600GT which supports all possible features), windows are transparent for me...not solid like in enzo's picture(s). Sometimes I would like to have similar windows, but cannot.

Is there an effect I could disable to loose transparencies, anyone?

his pic is because his GFX lacks power to enable some options like transparent windows and other light effects. so his windows look super dark,

the reason why overbright is not allowed is cause you change the color of the car/part into a whole dif color. and that is not allowed (like creating white rims for instance)

I personally don't have a problem with giving CF a bit darker tint to make it abit darker (more realitic) but aslong as it doesn't make it pitch black!

but then again I harly judge the uploaded cars so it is not up to me

So here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the famoues Mitsubishi Lancer made by our one enzo.ph.
funny! check out the first two pages of this topic...

anyways i use to have nvidia mx440 as my gfx card thats why my cars looks so crapy before. what i did with my black evo was just contrast and brightness, thats all. its nothing compare to the extreme edits these days...

Just gonna make this one clear....the lights yeah the ones in the front...nope he just took a picture while the lights were on...yeah in that program..yeah the one called need for speed underground 2...yeah that sounds about right

The reason I say the lights are not edited is because as you can see he has the car cut out but the light on the right side looks cut off so obviously he cut it off when he was cutting the pic out so no it has not been edited imo

and no i am not a "schmuck" whatever it is

It is editing, but it doesn't really affect the overall appearance of the car IMO...

Hmm, I'll discuss that one with others, thanks for report
