NFS UG: No crowds.

Hey guys. I can't turn on the crowds. It's option is disabled. I have a:
nVidia GeForce 2 GTS graphics card. So why are the crowds not able to come up? The graphics card is on the requirements place.

OH, and I just got the game today!! (I love it!)

Your graphics card doesn't support crowds.

geforce 4 or lower ( so far i know of ) dont support crowds or motion blur and if you had read some of the other threads you might of seen it metioned somewhere cause its metioned everywhere

GeForce TI's support everything. Mostly MX cards aren't supported.

dude i did have a geforce mx440 64 mb and it ran it fine, crowds motion blur and all, but i upgraded for ther reasons....

It says: "GeForce2 or greater." So crowds are supposed to work. Check your own box. (It says it at the bottom.) (I have Windows XP Pro)

ADD: Hey gys, this is not a post where you discuss graphics cards. (Like which ones are better or worse and stuff like that.) I made this post to talk about my problem. Is there some way that I can leave my card and get crowds. Cause I hear em' but don't see them. lol

maybe, seeing how that is a minimum requirement it is needed 2 just run the game not all the extras it has 2 offer, maybe ???

hmmm. I just started to think about this.. What crowds exactly are we talking about? crowds when you finish/start races, or there supposed to be crowds along the race track? It's a n00bs question, but I kinda start to think that there are some crowds i DON'T see, and my graphix card ain't shiznit. So.... More crowds than at the start/finish?

we are talking about the chick or guy that stands infront of your car at the start of thew race and waves thier hands around, and the group of people that stands around your car at the end of a race.... lol a n00bs question lmao.....

. No it's not a noobs question than. Because I can't imagine that a chick waving a flag with 4 other ppl always looking the same are worth all the hype. U see them at the START and when finish DRAG races. What's the big deal, seriously? I mean motion blur is a much bigger handicap IMO.
Here is why I asked: People talk about no crowd, and I think "I don't see any crowds during racing - may be I also have a problem like they". So it turns out all the fuss is about a couple of badly drawn figures that cheer you on at the start.... I can only be thankful I don't have to hear the cheesy lines they say in the Undeground (wow dude, sick dude, awesome dude, weak dude, cool dude, and so on. My favourie is Chrom and Flammen - now you are totally famous in Germany dude!!! LOL)

lol its funny that Midnight Club 2 had an effect like motion blur and it worked with my MX card, NFSU's crowds or Motion blur doesnt work on the same card, I think EA should have made 2 compatibility motion blur for MX cards. Anyway, having crowds is kind of fun and motion blur is really cool and I haven't had the chance to see it in my PC, so I guess I'll just have to wait until I get a new card.

Anyways, another problem. UG restarting randomly. Deleted all the ads. Just reinstalled Windows XP yesterday. Why restarting? I just got it yesterday. WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

on motion blur- PC version isn't the best. So enjoy the console.
