Producer Blog Update

Check out the update at the official site's producer blog where producer Mark little shares some stories of what actually happened while developing the game.

Before we got to run our laps we had a chance to check out the other driver’s cars and watch as they would drive up to the course and start pulling out every piece of their car they didn’t all in the name of weight reduction. One of the guys probably pulled over 200 pounds out of his car before he went to the start line. Every person there could tell you in detail the list of mods they had completed to their car and the list of mods they were planning next. Everyone shared the same need to push themselves and their car to the limit. This crowd was focused on control and handling, horsepower did not reign supreme with this group. That was very evident when the fastest lap of the session was laid down by a near stock motor 240SX with lots of suspension work, beating out a Porsche Cayman by 1/10th of a second.

That's so awesome a stock 240 with suspension work beat out a Porsche Cayman... Just shows how much more important handling is than horsepower when it comes to grip racing.
