Serious Question (New car decision)
Okay, I am looking to trade in my car before the new year rolls around, but I am torn between two cars specifically.
My thoughts are a
New Corvette Z06 LZ2 Package with the following: Billy Boat Fuzion Exhaust
Have a listen here: http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/z06/
Listen to the exterior flash file
Next is my planned body kit for my Z06
And filly one finishing touch is a racing spoiler - Black exterior/Black interior with dark window tint.
Now onto the Shelby GT500
Here is the planned body kit:
https://www.cervinis.com/product.aspx?c ... =1208#1170
And here is the exhaust system
http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/mustang/ click on the flash file to hear it
Way better than bassani or Loudmouth X-Pipes
I will definately be getting one of the two before the new year
Here is my thinking:
Corvette's look the same
Mustang's can be unique
A corvette has better handling and faster top end and a mustang is a c class car.
Should I go with a Shelby GT500 or GT and mod it out if I go that route?
Cars I have driven:
Acura Integra, Acura NSX, 1987 RX-7, 1993 RX-7, Toyota Supra, Mustang Cobra Conv, 1997 Corvette, Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2002 Mustang, and finally a 2007 Corvette.

Out of those two, Absolutely, positively, no matter what get the Corvette. I mean, this is a muscle car that can run with supercars. Who doesn't want that? And besides in terms of performance you're going to be sliding no matter what in the GT500 with that live rear axle. At least the Corvette has grip but isn't afraid to hang its tail out when you want it to.

Re: Serious Question (New car decision)
Hi, if you were referring to the Skyline GT-R R34 I came accross this
http://www.motorex.net/skyline.html
Now if you was referring to this
http://www.nissanusa.com/gt-r/index.htm ... ge.Home.P1
That is one sweet ride
Apparently the new GT-R which has a v6 . You would think that they would have put a v8 in it, but it still dusted a Z06 LZ3 in road course racing and beat a 911 996 by .4 seconds
You are definately right, in looks it beats all the others hands down.
I thought production of this car was way off, but now I think that I am going to wait it out till june 2008.

Re: Serious Question (New car decision)
Depending on where you live it is a long way off. In Australia it's not released until '09. Which sucks for me because I want to see it in the metal SO BADLY!!!
