Ok, since it already known that we have to drive around in a city..
I don't just want to speed around the city, but just cruise at 'normal' speeds. How do you think the car will handle? Well, I mean, you can't really cruise in NFS:U with Free Run. A full tuned car accelerates too fast and handling is too sensitive..

Thats kind of a silly question, just don't go too fast, like in real life, ur car may be very fast and yet u have ta cruise along the highway if u don't wanna get ticketed. Just don't go too fast as i said.
This will make us more well-rounded NFSU drivers, knowing how to stay calm.
Just chill on the gas when u realise ur going too fast. Simple as that in my opinion.

yeah they could impliment somthing like what 'mafia' has. if you dont want to speed or get a ticket in mafia you tap "R2" and a speed limiter comes on not letting you go over a certain speed.PSZeTa wrote:Ok, since it already known that we have to drive around in a city..

but i mean you could just not speed and taht would work to lol.
imo it all depends on the controls you use. If you use pedals and a steering wheel, like I used to for Viper Racing and F1 2002, you have all the sensitivity of real racing, if it's a keyboard you use, you're doomed to a long series of small accelerations and letting go of the gas again, as when you press forward, it has the same effect as full acceleration. So it's really all up to how well this new game will support progressive handling. NFSU gave me unlimited problems with both my steering wheel and my joystick, and I ended up using keyboard - might be therefore I hate drag so much. If they once again go for an optimized keyboard solution, laying all weigh on keyboard controls, then a cruise control button would surely be welcome ...
pressure sensitive buttons.... i remember after i was bored of doing gta missions, id cruise around liberty and vice doing the limit and even stop at a redlight (didnt do it for too long) but you do have you speed. my guess it that driving around the city, will be different to racing...i dont think it will be like the few times you race in GTA how the game play is the same....

NFS U2
Ok first things first as far as i have heard there will be no cops in NFS U2. Unless EA didn't release them @ E3 when i was there. There will be 7 modes all that are know at the moment are Circuit, Drag and Drift. There will be many new cars including American Muscle Cars . Oh and u can put Sound Systems in your cars 2
