Gamespot's NFSU2 First Look

Another online magazine that posted a Need for Speed Underground 2 First Look article is Gamespot which also features a video interview with NFSU2 executive producer Chuck Osieja. Here is the conclusion of the article, if you don't want to read the whole.

Gamespot wrote:Based on what we've seen so far, Need for Speed Underground 2 is shaping up to be a promising next step for the burgeoning franchise. The development team's work reflects the impact user feedback from the original Need for Speed Underground has had on the game and ensured the next game will, at the very least, offer a strong, stylish racing experience. The addition of new modes and the host of gameplay refinements being added throughout the game contribute a considerable amount of optional depth that should please hardcore racing fans. While the graphics at this early stage don't appear to offer a quantum improvement over the first game, the fact that the visual quality of the game is looking better despite the fact that you have an entire city to play through certainly bodes well for the final game. Need for Speed Underground 2 is currently slated to ship this November for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, PC, and Xbox. Look for much more on the game in the coming months.

Ok, just to show some more thing, I captured the fragments of the preview video, have a look (btw, escalade is the white SUV yuo see in one of the pics).

Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Mistsubishi 3000gto, and old corolla?...

well death ranger theyre not exactly giving away the list yet, its still pretty damn tight... theyre jsut teasing us, see below it only says, lexus, supra(pretty obvious itd stil be in the game), celica is already in nfsu so no big, and corolla can be any model but most likely its the AE86 trueno. either than that all the other cars mentioned are already in nfsu..

well yeah, but was i wanted to say was that urQuattro was indeed right and the car he snaped was an older version of the corola.... peace of crap

what's funny is that nor does the escalade or the 3000gt are mentioned in here... strange maybe the "escalde was a generig suv like in nsf:u? not likely I know, but it's EA so go figure'em out

and maybe that "3000gt" was actualy an eclipse...?

well looking at the pic of the red one... it is most certain a Toyota Corrola AE86, comparing it with pics.... cause live refirence we do not have here.... we don't drive cars from 83/4...

for racing. we call those OLD TIMERS....
