State of the forum and website

Since about 4:00/4:30am CST this morning (I'm a day sleeper

) the site and forum have become like molasses in January (go figure ... LOL). Between 4:30 and 5:30 I was getting either PHP database errors or the site wouldn't come up at all. Everything's still pretty slow but at least seems to work.

Just thought the mod(s) and admin(s) might want to know approx. when this started.

I'm aware of the problem as it comes and goes. What's the reason: I have no idea.
I notified our host as it's obviously a server overload problem.

just to let u guys know that i've experiencing similar problems during, 4 am to about 6am in GMT.

lol, same for me...its around those early morning hours that this happens...good thing not many ppl r on then ,huh?

They're probably doing host maintenance at exactly that time and for that reason. Sunday morning starting at 4am is pro'lly the lowest time of usage for them. Just keeping you guys abreast of the situation.
