Showroom Challenge returns: Duels

Yes, that is right, the famous Showroom Challenge from the times of Need for Speed Underground and Underground 2 that ultimately gave two biggest giveaways in NFS fansite history, TuningChallenge and TuningChallenge2, has returned to the Showroom and is now also available for Need for Speed Carbon in the form of duels.

There are few new rules: they are only possible in the Classic categories (not just for Carbon, but for all games from Underground on) which have strict rules for entries (unedited garage or ingame screenshots); the second rule is that duels are only possible between the same car model, which basically means a Lancer can only duel other Lancers. This is to ensure that the person who modified the car best, wins.

This is the first step in making Showroom Challenge into what it was - the next step will of course be the real themed challenges, which went by the name SRChallenge Classic. Stay tuned.
