I came across this link today:

It's a tweaking guide for HP2 that gives you information on tweaking your system setup for best performance to run the game, and what drivers and patches to use. It tells you how to edit some of the files, info on the ingame settings and other useful stuff. This seems like a good guide for experienced and inexperienced users.
