  • What is TuningChallenge2?
    TuningChallenge2 is a competition organized by NFSUnlimited with the purpose of finding the best car tuner in Need for Speed Underground 2. It is a set of 10+1 different competitions where NFSUnlimited users and guests will vote on the contending cars.
     
  • Can I enter with only one car?
    You can enter with 2 entries, that is two different cars, with each car to one of the 10 competitions available.
     
  • I've entered the challenge. How will I know my entry was accepted?
    When you enter the competition, your car goes directly to a queue of cars waiting to be approved by an admin. Once an admin reviews your car, you will be notified to your email about the status of your application - if the car was accepted or rejected. If your car was rejected you will also receive the reason for rejection to your email. If your car was rejected, you can re-enter the competition.
     
  • My car won a competition. I have a car in one of the other competitions. Can it win too?
    Each competition is a separate challenge, so if you win one, it won't have any consequences on your entries in other competitions. If you are good enough, you can have both 2 cars in the semi finals.
     
  • How are the guest and user ratings counted?
    User ratings count as 75% of the final score, guest ratings count as 25% of the final score.
     
  • When will the competition end?
    First stage will end on October 26th at 12.00 GMT. Second stage will begin on October 27th at 12.00 GMT and last for 2 days. Final rankings should be in after 2 or so days. Which means the competition will end around the 30th October.
     
  • How do I take a screenshot of the cars in the game?
    The easiest way is to simply press "print screen" key, then leave the game and paste the picture in MS Paint. A better way is to download Fraps (www.fraps.com) and take screenshots with it. They will be saved in the default fraps instalation directory.

  • Why does the primary picture have to be from the garage and unedited?
    The pictures have to be from the garage and must be unedited to allow everyone, whatever their graphics card is, an equal chance in the competition. Also make sure the over bright and enhanced contrast settings is set to OFF

  • How will I be notified if I win a prize?
    You will be notified by email to the email address you have in your forum profile.
