A 2007 BMW M3 E92 setup by GT3x24x7 created on 23. November 2009 16:43.

This is a track-specific build, meant to compete in the rating 14.00 bracket at Dakota Tri-Oval.

Disregard the fact that it only reaches a rating of 13.12, I did quite a bit of testing to determine the ideal parts list for the car and I think I've hit on the right combination. Adding other parts slowed it down at Dakota where high gear acceleration and top speed are everything.

The tune itself isn't hugely radical. Default suspension and geometry settings work very well and the car doesn't need any more grip at this track. Major changes were the removal of any speed limiting downforce and a final drive tweak.

The car is exceptionally easy to drive at Tri-Oval and it can turn in some good times. Generally you should just keep to the racing line and you'll be fine. You have nitrous up your sleeve too - save that for the home straight after hitting two good sectors and you're bound for a winning laptime!

The best Dakota Tri-Oval time acheived during testing was 0:34.580. Enjoy!

  1. 13.12
